Question for ESB In the late 1940s I saw in a movie theatre a great history of Boxing documentary called "KINGS OF THE RING"..It was about 90 minutes long...The best boxing film from 1900 to the late 1940s,all division greats of the past..Has anyone on ESB any info on this old but great film? Would love to buy this great documentary of boxings past...??

There is a Kings Of The Ring movie. It was made in the 2000's by Bud Greenspan, and features Johnson, Dempsey, Louis, and Ali. It is pretty good.

I have never heard of a 1940's Kings Of The Ring, but it might contain some rare footage. Let me know if you find it.

I checked on the internet..The original "KINGS OF THE RING" was narrated by Nat Fleischer of RING MAG in the early 1940s as I suspected...On a karge movie screen it made a great impression when I first saw those old Boxing legends, on the big screen in about 1946 or abouts...It was not the Bud Greenspan later version which I've seen on TV...Love to get a copy of the OLD Nat Fleischer version, but how ?
