After seeing this guy beat Briggs how do you think he will go against the rest of the heavies in Aus? He is obviously tough as nails, and for little experience he does well. Did Briggs make him look good by fighting his fight and having a bad plan or is this guy a genuine contender on the Aussie HW scene for maybe the Aus Title or a regional belt?
Thing about the heavyweight scene in Ozzie boxing is that once you conquer someone the level of Briggs..you can maybe find 3 or 4 guys on that level or you have to take a massive step up and face guys like Bob and Col. You could bundle Hoppa and Sol in the category aswell. Im sure he will push for a rematch with Alex...a fight Im not so sure he will win. Kirby vs Cronje?? That would be good..after those two avenues though..what next? Rubber with Briggs? A mad gauge was when Okhello used to own the OPBF strap..Kali got past him, might be still the only bloke ever to stop him. Though other guys like Bob, Col, Rog, Auckland etc couldnt..Im pretty sure they had a couple of digs each aswell. Another guy like that would be nice..maybe Cameron is the man or maybe that is aiming far to high.
That would be an interesting fight....if Kirby can get Sol to fight his fight it may go down the same road as the briggs fight....however Sol has a bit more power....but failed to use it enough against Col.
