BoxRec was to have fought ?/TBA yesterday in Virginia, according to BoxRec.

Did TBA not show up? What is going on?

Kirk has had so many rumored comebacks since that fight with Javier Mora and all of them have fallen through. The same would not surprise me with this supposed fight.

It just would not be a Kirk Johnson thread unless someone made a few obligatory weight cracks about Kirk eating at the buffet, Kirk getting a bag of Duncan Donuts, or Kirk making a run for the border.

Maybe Kirk can fight Colonel Sanders in his next comeback fight? The winner will get paid in fried chicken and biscuits. Maybe this is a way that we can ensure that Kirk makes it onto the comeback trail?

After he chews through the Colonel, he can enter the Biggest Loser/Contender. Where we can see the immortal battles between Kirk and Toney, Peter, Rahman, Tua, Botha, Danny Williams, and Arreola. The special challeneges will include wing and hot dog eating contests, along with the soda chug. Kobayashi will make a special appearance at camp to help the fellas out. The winner of the torunament will have the opportunity to fight Valuev at a catch weight of 400 pounds.

Jesus. I could see this show being made. And they'd set it on a desert island. Or in the arctic.

In episode 4, Butterbean drops by to offer encouragement. I'd say Foreman would host, but I'm pretty sure George would pass on the opportunity. I wonder if William Perry is busy these days...

I find it funny that people keep blaming Kirk. Where is TBA? He's at least equally responsible for these fights not coming about.

I agree that would make a good fight. James Toney has always respected Kirk's talent. It would make a for a good Friday Night Fight.

I just don't know what happened to Kirk Johnson-- absolutely no news since that card in February was cancelled.

Funny, I was just going to post a thread asking this same question. I wonder if Northend knows anything?
