Really? Aw crap he's going to be like 26 by then. Might as well pull a Mike Strang and spend your whole career as an amateur at that point.

Kirk & I sat and watched the fight in slow motion. all but 2 of the so called low blows were actually legal punches. Ruiz should have got an oscar for his blatant acting. Joe Cortez turned in yet another blatantly biased officiating display. Cortez allowed Ruiz to get away with murder holding like a leech & also one of the most blatant headbutts I have ever seen which Cortez totally ignored
Kirk really knocked out Ruiz the blow that Cortez DQ'd Kirk for was legal & legitimate. Kirk was robbed:patsch

When I first discovered ESB shorty after Wlad/Botha, raophie3082 was a regular poster. Time really can fly.

Actually, Johnson was a talented boxer with power and speed, but he appeared to be more interesting in his doughnut shop. Johnson was good whenever he trained, but still not good enough to beat Vitali Klitschko...........

Lost most of my respect for him when he came into one of the biggest fights of his career dreadfully out of shape.

No shame in losing to Vitali, but at least train and eat like a professional boxer, not a professional "competitive eater"

Ruiz did badly hurt Johnson late in the 9th round and dropped him.

But Johnson was unfairly DQ'd. Some of those low blows came when Ruiz was holding Johnson's head down. A fighter shouldn't be penalized when his shot strays low as a result of the other guy pulling his head and neck down.

Some of those were borderline shots, but the way Ruiz fell and acted, you would have thought it was Golota-Bowe.

One shot was clearly shown to have landed on the hip/thigh area, and then Ruiz flops to the floor and grabs his balls.

    Embarassing.
