Kirkland and Martirosyan war of words

    Within the last day, a war of words [140 characters or less, of course] was exchanged between two contenders in the junior middleweight division, Vanes Martirosyan ]28-0, 17 KOs] of Glendale, California and James Kirkland [25-0, 22 KOs] of Austin, Texas.
    Kirkland, recently paroled for a weapons charge that has kept him out of the ring since a March 2009 sixth-round battering of Joel Julio, wasted no time in getting at Martirosyan, having only opened a Twitter account yesterday before launching an attack on him this afternoon.
    JKirklandChamp: ”I’m gonna take 1 fight & then I want u @VanesBoxing I hear you thank nobody wants 2 fight you. Forget the tune up, I’ll fight u now.”
    VanesBoxing: @JKirklandChamp loll ok talk is cheap anytime ur ready let’s do it
    JK: @VanesBoxing I’m gonna knock your ****in he’d off. I been sayin it mane. You know what it is!

    Vanes is a bit of a ****. Starts calling out people like Dzinziruk but when Lara said let's get it on he started backtracking.

    Actually, anyone who bothers to click the link can plainly see this:
    NOTE: It has been discovered the Kirkland account is potentially a fraud.

    That doesn't mean the dialog can't be laughed at.

    Kirkland might be the last dude on the face of the planet I would talk crazy to. I'm not saying he can't be beat, but at what cost, Kirkland is a beast...a wild undisciplined beast, but a beast none the less.

    Kirkland is the southpaw Jeff Lacy.

    Seriously, what does Kirkland do well? he just comes foward throwing shots, but as of yet, has not been made to pay a price, although I seem to remember him getting himself into trouble earlier in his career.
