He just had an accident with Ishida. Other than that hes a pretty good fighter. I reckon he will give a lot of problems to Alvarez tonight.

 

Glass Jaw = someone who gets KTFO from a sub-par punch
Vulnerable jaw = someone who gets knocked down from a decent punch

Therefore Kirkland does NOT have a glass jaw but is merely someone who has a vulnerable jaw.

Kirkland's fragile mandible was shattered by feather-fisted Nobuhiro Ishida, multiple times. If that doesn't prove he has a glass jaw, I don't know what does.atsch

 

Kirkland does not have a great chin no doubt but did take big shots off angulo and tapia but won

 

1) that was a ref stoppage. Kirkland most likely could have gone on. 2) Why didn't the same thing happened when he faced Alfredo Angulo and Glen Tapia, where he took some brutal punches was even knocked down?

The Nobuhiro Ishida was due to p***-poor preperation and ONE fight where he gets stopped (regardless if Ishida is feather-fisted) does not prove that one has a glass jaw. When he starts getting repeatedly stopped by sub-par opposition then you have a case. Till then, Kirkland has a vulnerable jaw but not a glass one.
