Good call- but maybe a little defense could have delayed the outcome I think his jaw's a tad better than Wilder
Virtually any fighter has a better chin than Wilder - I can't wait til that fraud's glass jaw is brutally exposed! Kirkland's chin, however, was clearly fragile, and yet some people still denied its glassiness before this fight. I don't get it. It was pretty obvious to anyone who had seen his fights.
gbp building up canelo as cash cow. question is until when? it's really hard to determine real fights nowadays.
Kirkland should a pretty good chin canelo was throwing hammers at him it was only a matter time cause no one can continue to take shots like that ...Kirkland has a decent beard wouldn't say it's China glass
I give Kirkland a lot of credit for the heart he displayed. He gave it everything he had but fell short. Win or lose he's always in action packed exciting fights though. That said, I really don't think he should be fighting much longer as he's going to end up in a bad way if he keeps taking the amount of punishment he's been taking, both in fights and in sparring.
Bad training, bad fighting style, bad defense = knocked into next millennium by Canelo. Aliens will be inspecting the earth and find glistening shards on the ground and wonder what they are looking at. "It's everywhere, it's glowing. It must have been art of some sort. So fragile. Who would destroy such a thing?" "The imprint on the remains would indicate it was 'Canelo,' a fighter of yore." "We must find the Mexican boy who hath exploded this fine piece of art." "It isn't art, sir, it's a chin." "A chin?" "Yes, a chin, you see, when a man has his brain beaten for his entire life, his chin becomes easily susceptible to damage. This chin appears to be among the weakest. Notice its filament-like texture." "Any read on who it belonged to?" "Scanning right now, sir. It appears to belong to a fighter from the FacebookSteroidsYouTube era, James Kirkland." "Kirkland, you say?" "Yes." "Mother of god. This may be the weakest we've ever seen. Bring me the Khanometer."
Kirkland lost because of his Glass Jaw. If he had a Chin he could have weathered the storm and hung in there to win. Chins matter it is THE most important attribute for a boxer to have.
That sparring session is disgusting. No respect for that whole crew after seeing that. Bunch of animals.
If you've never fought before professionally, then you can't really talk about chins and gain respect. You see a fighter get kod live or on TV and he has no chin. But if you've never boxed a day in your life, that's all you see lol. That's all Rico and Zak see. They have never fought before. Armchair opinions at their cheapest finest.
