    Yep released this morning he's driving to a halfway in Austin where he will spend 7 months. He will start training immediately and should return on November 6th.

    honestly I rate Kirkland but the guy is getting so much hype its unreal. Going to Prison makes him look like a bad ass to the yanks, and theres no other exciting black fighters coming through in the states.

    Part of me thinks he should stay with Wolfe although heard they may not stay together but i really think the lad has hidden skills but has been turned into this one tracked wrecking machine. I think he has a bit of class in his work when he wants. I know he was a very skilled amateur fighter..

    People like Kirkland should be banned from the sport. Its not like his last charge was a once off, if he does fight again hopefully he gets ktfo

    Kirkland better fine tune his skills and stop thinking he's in a 3 round human cockfighting competition. He has a lot of Lacy's bad habits.

    To me James Kirkland is suffering from the classic raw athlete syndrome. When fighters have that huge knockout power which Kirkland doesn't or wrecking bull mentality, they don't seem to work on their defense and other aspects as much as the guy who can't punch/doesn't have that ferocity and doesn't have any choice but to work on it.

    Ann Wolfe is hardcore with her training techniques, no doubt. But i'm not sure she's right for Kirkland.
