im watching laing fight duran atm, how would he do against mayweather prime 4 prime at welterweight. laings chin being shatterable, floyd having a decent defense and both hit reasonably well from what ive seen.
Laing COULD have won this one. He was so erratic that he'd have probably lost though. Criminal waste of talent.
Most fighters are looking for a way to win, Kirk sometimes found a way to lose ! Would of liked to have seen Kirk vs Gypsy Joe Harris (perhaps a bit outer limits ?)
If you consider these fantasy matchups as having both fighters at their absolute best then Laing clearly imo. In reality Laing is probably found stoned a few hours before the first bell. Ala Buck Smith.
