Alvarez is not as good as you are implying. I expect even a subpar Kirkland will have his share of good moments against Alvarez.

 

Oscar is badass and will continue to be the future of boxing, mainly on his ability to accurately predict the future.

Oscar knew that Kirkland was going to leave Wolfe so he pushed for the fight knowing that Kirkland would ot perfrom at hs best without the Wolfe in his corner.

Oscar also knew that Cotto was going to punk out like a b!tch and duck Canelo.

Reminds me of when Oscar claimed he was working on Canelo-Williams, when Oscar knew all along that Paul Williams would be in a horrible motorcycle accident that would leave him paralyzed, so he announced negotiations with Williams a month before hand to make Canelo look like a badass.

That reminds me of the time Oscar told everyone that Canelo would fight Ortiz, but the Sly psychic knew that Victor Ortiz was going to get his jaw broken by Josesito Lopez so Canelo would face the weaker lesser known fighter.

sorry to crush feelings but canelo is ****. You guys parade him like he's the best. He lost to mayweather, came back and looked great against a stationary target in Angulo who had seen his better days past him by. He then fought Lara in which he couldn't even sneek a kiss.

Now he's fighting Kirkland who has been inactive, what do you really think is going to happen?

Canelo is a protected baby who is crying for may 2. If you want it, beat mayweather then claim it. Until then stfu and do what your told.

It's funny that mayweather had to work to get where he is today and people want to criticize him for that.

its possible alvarez isn't as great as I rate him but it can also be true that he is far better than you are giving him credit for.

alvarez is so many dozens (dozenS x 10 at least) of levels above james this is such a wasted match up. its true, almost always anything can happen in boxing BUT not between these 2 fighters. there is 1 (ONE) outcome and ONE outcome ONLY.

Alvarez is not dozens of levels above anyone. We are talking about Canelo Alvarez aren't we? Getting dubious decisions over Trout and Lara and getting shut out against Mayweather makes Alvarez a B level boxer at best.

wolfe is a great trainer, this woman knows more boxing than majority of male trainers, and this whole forum combined.

 

I can only take it as you truly think canelo is just a regular fighter. he is an elite level fighter to me.

I don't get this board, on one hand we have people pumping up the likes of froch and Bradley as elite level warriors at the same time dumping on canelo as a over hyped over protected fighter.

he is also far superior to froch and Bradley and I don't even have those guys in the same class and alvarez. I told everyone on here what was going to happen for alvarez post mayweather fight.

I said he was going to totally destroy Angulo then go one to beat lara then I thought cotto was in line BUT it seems roach thought it over and said F that, not a winnable match up for cotto. another thing that gets me is alvarez beat trout clearly even easily, while the lara win looked tougher and closer than it waa but I still saw c****o winning both those match ups.

I guess, only further time will tell.. the truth always comes to the forefront. obviously i'm just a bigger fan of canelos than most on here. what canNOT be denied is canelo has legit skills, he is in my top 10 p4p.
