    Alvarez is a step below the elite fighters (Manny, Floyd, Rigo, Ward, Gonzalez, Inoue, and Lomachenko, in case you were wondering), but he was always going to knock Kirkland out in this fight.

    If you say that then obviously you are not a real boxing fan.
    Anne Wolfe & Pops Billingsly took Kirkland in and gave him chance after chance. He could have made something of himself if he only had the guts to do it. He is , was & always will be a street punk. He'll likely be back in jail before years end anyway:patsch

    Who cares?

    Kirkland has a low ceiling and Wolfe has never shown an ability to produce good fighters.

    At best, she's a good person to bring in for conditioning if your fighter has borderline impossible work capacity.

    It's not for a title
    It's at a catchweight (that benefits Kirkland more)
    Kirkland stepped in because Cotto b!tched out
    It's two exciting fighters who can bang
    It will keep Canelo busy (good for us fans)

    ummm, is that your complete list of elite level fighters in boxing ? personally I have only a few more elite level fighters in boxing..

    I'll add in Canelo as elite in my book, also easily trip G (best in boxing for me and has been going on 2 years)

    kovalev is elite in my book too, not the same level as Trip G but still elite nontheless

    Tell ya what I'd LOVE to be present to see you say any of this to Anne Wolfe's face. She'd beat your ass so bad your own Mother wouldn't recognize you. Not that a coward like you would ever dare come face to face with her. You obviously never saw her fight did you?

    I disagree as with Wolfe screaming in his face between rounds Kirkland would had bolted back and won a few rounds before getting KTFO.

    You can always count on JAMES to go full throttle for the first half of a fight. His defense, using his face and chin, is not elite but he can bang :hey:!::smoke

    With Wolfe I expected to see Canelo rocked a few times, as he likes to step back and admire his work too often, because Kirkland is full on aggression :good

    I think you forget what a war Kirkland put a then fully healthy Angulo through bro. Kirkland has power and will let his hands go unlike Canelo who fights is spurts:tired

    I admire Canelo for wanting to fight the best but without Wolfe forcing Kirkland to be in tip top shape this foghts just lost the X Factor in my view :deal
