Kirkland or Angulo vs. a 29-year old Oscar De La Hoya

I think Oscar would beat Kirkland, my only question would be What would happen if Oscar landed Kirk went down but was able to recover, if he recovers he usually takes puches better later on.

So it would be a question of if James could get on the inside and what would happen if he landed. My belief is that he would definitely hurt Oscar if he lands flush.

 

Kirkland or Angulo KO1 Oscar and right after they both go onto take out Tito in a face first brawl with neither man showing any defence, they take 10 Trinidad left hooks in a row and knock Tito out with 1 punch.

 

Are you seriously thinking about this?? Oscar murders both of them. The level if competition its not what it was. There is no ****ing reason bhop should be schooling kids in their prime. Or an past his prime war damaged Morales to comeback and maje iT a with a so called kiler in maidana. There is hardly any boxing gym around anymore, at least where kids can develope paying 10 bucks a month o even at times not paying just like the old days. There is an mma gym everywhere now and the boxing gyms there is left are business run now. You are either a pro or have to pay big money to train and have a trainer. Kids don't get the same attention at these gym s as they would in one of the old school gym that are of business nowadays. Mayweather, pacqiao and Moseley until more recently are the only fighters left of the previous generation and in spite their age are still competing except mosely but remember he fought pacquiao.

Oscar would stop both of them. He would decapitate Kirkland with the hook in under 5, and outbox the **** out of Angulo and wear him down en route to a late stoppage.

I don't think either of them have a left hook as poweful as Oscars or Trinidad and that's all Oscar needs. Oscar's left hook was legendary and the ones who beat him were able to avoid it. Neither Kirkland or Angulo would unless they learn some serious defensive skills. Angulo may have a chance with Beristein but I doubt its part of Wolfe's plan and if either walks into that left hook, they're staying down.

 

I"ll put Kirklands left hook and straight left down as being more powerful than Oscar's. The difference is Oscar could put his in and because you can't see it, it would be over.

I think he would have problems landing on a lefty like James, especially if he was working behind his jab and got inside.
