Kirkland takes the label 'glass' to a new level

How long has he been out of prison for? How many bouts has he had since? Havn't really been following his career, but by the looks of it...he very much looked like a fighter who hadn't taken any sort of punch in a long time.

 

This is the poster boy for Glass Jaws marketing campaign.Kirkland was an abomination last evening-but it was fun to watch.This prison hood being schooled and beaten to the canvas by the Japanese "opponent".

 

Kirkland would never beat the Japanese fighter...the guy was too fast for him.....

Too fast, too accurate, too long, too tall ....Kirkland has zero defense and is a sitting duck for this guy as he is trying to come inside.

 

Yeah, Kirkland is right up there in Amir Khan territory.

 

Kirkland has a solid chin but running straight into a bigger mans punches is not the best idea. Those shots seemed to be right on the chin.

 

I was surprise how many times he went down in this fight and the opponent who was responsible. But to me Cortez really mess up this one, he should've given Kirkland a chance to get up. Kirkland still knew where he was at and was responding to Cortez with no problem. Real bad stoppage in my opinion...

 

glass is more durable then his eggshell jaw.
