what a waste

 

I went to the fight when he beat Rocky Kelly for the British title late 1980s. It was towards the end of Laing career but he was utterly brilliant. I watch that fight on video more than any other. It was the closest thing to bear baiting I've ever seen in the ring, and Kelly was no mug

 

Those Colin Jones fights were nuts.

 

I used to watch him too....good and bad boxer. Maybe a bit unlucky with his breaks.

Who was it twice? Dave Boy Green*? Same round? Ouch!

Buncey did a 'whatever happened to'...feature on him for the BBC a few years back...might still be avbailable.
