Angulo and Kirk are made for Canelo, I think he would have a tougher time with a Lara type of opponent then a face first brawler who he would just counter all night and time with big shots, and canelo won't get tired he will go in for the kill working on the body and just taking him out.... DOn't get me wrong, though Kirkland with great stamina, and those 2 big fists with that movement he was showing in the ring, could try and over power canelo and since canelo is a slow starter, you never know what can happened which makes it a very interesting fight.

Anyways, the winners are the fans whenever fighters like Angulo, Rios, Kirk,Kats fight.

Alvarez of course. Don't get fooled by what happened Saturday night. Gomez's technique had Canelo in trouble, Kirkland has none of it and he's too wild. Alvarez catches Kirkland and knocks him out in the first half of the fight.

This would be a tough fight for both guys. I don't see it happening anytime soon. They still seem to be matching Alvarez carefully. Kirkland has his deficencies, but he's a relentless, power punching lefty. If you're Alzarez's people, you don't put him in there with Kirkland unless there is a high demand for the fight.

I still can't get over the fact that Canelo was almost KO'd by little Cotto. I'm convinced he has a bad chin. Yes, Canelo is WAY more skilled than Kirkland but at the same time, he got outboxed by Gomez (who is absolute ****) pretty much every round of his last fight. I really just can't see him being able to keep Kirkland off of him and think Kirkland eventually KO's him.

It would be a close fight, but I'd lean towards Alvarez..

I also believe the result between Angulo/Kirkland would've been different as well if Angulo hadn't punched himself out in the first round.. Would like to see a rematch between the two..

Good fight, Canelo has been carefully matched and really is no where near as good as people say he is, Kirkland would definitely have a chance of winning here, IMHO 154 was far better in the early 2000s.

:think Gomez won the 3rd and 4th rounds, just about. Had already been down in the 1st. Alvarez probably took his foot off the gas. Point is, I don't think he was disastrously outboxed, as you're alluding to. I think he's got enough to take care of Kirkland.

To me he was really outboxed in that fight, aside the KD round Gomez won every other round prior to the stoppage. But, Kirkland doesn't box what's his point.
