Kirkland vs Angulo - who wins?

I agree. At the moment I've got Angulo. Hope he beats Mayorga.

 

I'd love to see the winner of julio kirkland face off with angulo.

 

I would say Kirkland by UD 12. He has the experience to beat Angulo at this point. Both men are great prospects.

 

I think Angulo breaks him down mid fight.Angulo has a great stamina and workrate,haven't seen anythting from Kirkland yet.

 

I think Angulo is a little bit overrated. He has decent skills, but his handspeed seems rather slow. Someone is getting KO'd in this one and it might be Kirkland going down because Angulo has better footwork and what appears to be a better chin. At this point I would go with Kirkland in a 3 round war. In a couple years though, I could see Angulo wearing Kirkland down and stopping him in the second half of the fight.

First i will have to see how Angulo look's against Mayo....But i will take the Angulo of now by knock out... in fact Kirkland

is not getting past Joel Julio.

 

Tough at the moment need to see more of both. Both could possibly lose there next fight (i prefer Angulo's chances though)and may be forced to change their style slightly. I would say Angulo has a more allround game but Kirkland has the bigger weapon. Could be all over pretty quick either way.

 

Angulo by KO, Angulo look like a very durable fighter and Kiskladn is not a pure boxer just a Lacy type of power and Kiskland have been badly hurt by a journeyman, so i thik kirkland would win the first few round but i expect Angulo to break Krkland down and stop him in the middle to late rounds.

I love to watch Kirkland, but I don't see why he's getting so much love in this hypothetical matchup. Two fighters, both high workrate, forward moving, power guys with below average handspeed. One is mostly a brawler and his defense sucks and he has a questionable chin, the other is a complete fighter who can actually do things like evade and counter and doesn't have any major question marks regarding his chin. Why would you pick the first fighter? Stylistically, it seems obvious that Angulo should win this.

 

Whoever lands first.

 

I 'll take Kirkland in this one. I like Angulo but his hand speed is not great. He likes to brawl and I expect that Kirland will try and box more rather then get into a dog fight with this kid.
