Again, Kirkland will be in for a surprise if he is thinkiing he will walk through
Joel ( not that I have heard him say anything to that effect ).

Joel, I believe will be Kirklands stiffest opposition to date and with fair
boxing skills as well.

Kirkland has very little technique and skill to speak of... not surprising considering Anne Wolfe is training him who used to fight like a plodding mummy.

Robert Guerrero comin up. Talking about Jorge Linares. Cassius Baloyi and Nicky Cook are apparently in contention to run the 130 division.

Guerrero vs Daud Yordan to start things off. Crowd is pretty loud for a BAD card.

 

Yordan is "El Chino Latino"

That may be the most ridiculously awesome nickname ever.

Guerrero certainly has himself a following, the crowd is hot for his trot as one would say.

 

Yordan and Guerrero are keeping up a good pace, Yordan moving and Guerrero chasing. Yordan getting popped by the stronger jab and gets ROCKED by a straight right from Guerrero. Yordan and Guerrero are certainly being entertaining. Yordan trying to time Guerrero for a straight right, Guerrero is going to the body. Yordan is holding Guerrero as the pace slows down a bit. Yordan lets go and lands a nice combination right as the round ends.

Tough round to score but I have it 10-9. Too much holding from Yordan to give him the round.

 

Human interest plug for Guerrero about his wife having cancer. Yordan has sneaky hands when he's not grabbing. He certainly is a spoiler to say the least.

Accidental headbutt opens up Guerrero.
