kirkland vs julio round by round

Kirkland is throwing double the amount of punches and hitting ggod. Not very good defense. But I am sure they will work on that. Great condition

Kirkland's pressure alone seems to be wearing Julio down, but Kirkland hasn't really impressed by landing anything big in the last couple of rounds.

 

If Kirkland doesn't get him outta of there by round 8 he's gonna be in trouble....

 

Julio is just about out. It's over.

 

Both fighters may be a little tired...lots of grabbing and hugging. Th spirit of John Ruiz is the house now.

Julio is thowing one punch at a time and none of it is close to Kirkland. Just throwing random punches. Low blow snuck in by Kikland not called. Julio in the back pedal, Kirkland trying to find him. Body shot by Julio gets Kirkland's attention. Strong jab by Julio rocks Kirkland's head back. Kirkland still chasing, Julio still running. Julio is throwing punches now and Kirkland has managed to be temporarily subdued. Kirkland is muscling Julio around now but STILL no body punches.

Julio is hurt and is going to get TKO'd within the next two rounds.

Kirkland looked good for the level of competition...but he NEEDS to develop a body attack and he needs to stop trying to feint so often. He got nailed every time he tried it because he's soooo slow.
