This could be a good fight that could get Lara's name out there. But who wins? Kirkland hits very hard, but Lara has some pop as well.
Lara will never make this fight. People say Canelo is scared, but Canelo was willing to get in the ring with the beast that is Kirkland. Lara barely survived Angulo. He was rolling on the ground like he was on fire during that fight. Kirkland will beat the hell outta Lara.
This fight won't be getting made anytime soon. However, I could see it going either way. I'd lean towards Kirkland though.
Angulo led with his face, yet Lara was getting knocked all over the ring. Kirkland has better stamina, hits harder, has better defense, is more relentless, a better body puncher, and comes at a southpaw angle. Lara doesn't want this fight. He will never make it. He can't run from Kirkland.
This fight needs to get made though. When people see Kirkland demolish Lara, they will be calling for Mayweather vs Kirkland, which is one of the best fights to be made in boxing.
Kirkland would run right through Lara. Kirkland brings too much power, aggression, relentless pressure, volume & strength. Don't be fooled into thinking Kirkland is chinny, he has a cold chin where he can be caught & put down early but he has great recuperative powers & once he gets warmed up its game over.
Lara said, "He [Kirkland] won't go two rounds with me." FIGHT HIM THEN!!! Why won't Lara fight Kirkland???
Lara has good recovery skills, Kirkland doesnt Lara landed good shots on Angulo before the knockdowns, Angulo had a block Kirkland sometimes leaves himself wide open, he would get caught early
