    well I guess you're entitled to your opinion, however wrong it is lol... I don't think Kirkland even has particularly great power. He has decent power, but it's an accumulation from him that gets you. He's not like Mayo or Tito where he can catch you one time and put you flat on your back seeing stars. He mauls and swarms and picks up the pace if he gets you dazed and sloppy.

    Now if you're REALLY bright, you can compare who Mayo lost to with who Kirkland lost to.

    He could barely stay steady on his feet after the 1st KD and there was no-one home in his eyes when he was looking at the ref trying to convince him he was capable of carrying on.

    The only reason Angulo was hurt was because he ended up blowing his load..... Real talk.... Had Angulo know how to pace himself and measure James up after he hurt him.... James would have ended up the KO victim that night.

    James was hurt worse than Angulo if we really look at what happened. James has a warriors mentality...it makes him a great finisher after smelling blood...but it takes time for James to soften his opponent up before he puts them away.

    At this stage.....James isn't operating on the level of Cotto... Let alone Shane, DLH or Tito during their prime years. And none of those fighters ever lost to a fighter like Ishida.

    Mayorga would have hurt James bad. ****..... I'd lean towards Cardo over James in 2012.
