I just think it's funny how hard Bama is working to defend flash in the pan, minimally talented Kirkland who's going to be a trivia question in two years. Mayorga would make him his prison *****. Watch the 6 heads Lewis KO and tell me Kriminal Kirkland would get up from that.

 

When I watch the De La Hoya, Trindad, Mosley, and Cotto KO's of Margo I find it hard to believe the same man could trouble Kirkland.

Mayorgas record is dotted with a who's who of contemporary boxing greats. He beat one of them twice in Vernon Forrest, and gave hard fights to the rest before succumbing to defeat. Oscar gets the nod for the quickest stoppage (6 rounds) None of these greats walked out and smashed him to the canvas 3 times in under a round.

Point to me is if Mayorga couldn't take their power he isn't taking Kirkland's power. Same token it would be tough for James to take a shot from him. Which is why it would be a 50/50 in my view.

They were mistakes, he did time for each of them and is out now on parole. If you don't like it that sucks for you get mad at the system, not James.
