    This all makes Max Kellerman's prediction of a future Kirkland - Martinez superfight seem prety ridiculous doesn't it? :yep

    Anyway, I think Kirkland's lack of ability to take a punch might have come over time because of his total lack of defense much like what happened to Paul Williams. I noticed even before he went to prison, Kirkland's speech seemed to be muffled much like that of a shop worn fighter. It could be that after these few short years of boxing he's absorbed so many clean blows that his punch resistance has already dwindled.

    Ahhh well! It's off to robbing liquor stores for his delinquent ass. :yep

    Yeah, but Kirkland just leapfrogged him. Vitali may not be as big a puncher as his KO record indicates, but he sure as hell hits harder than the guy that put Fraudland on ***** street.

    Bull****.I disagree.He got lucky with the Olympic Team and rode their coat tails into the pro's.He is ordinary at best.

    WOW ! That is a great avatar...glad you decided it was worthy. Too bad he & Solis are not in the same weight class. Can you imagine?!

    I don't know how some people go to these fights with guys like Solis, Kirkland, Rahman, and Wlad without wearing an entire protective suit. Aren't they worried about losing an eye or getting glass shards stuck in their spleen!??
