    His last two records were great, it's such a pity he started out with that teeny bopper songs for high school girls to get all hot and bothered by, its totally ruined his image, and now that he wants to actually write intelligent thoughtful music, all the music snobs won't give him the time of day.:verysad

    Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey are brilliant songwriters as well, but no one wants to see past their pop images and give them respect either.

    Daughters is a nice track by John Mayer. I'm partial to a little bit of Free Fallin' too I'll admit.

    His cover of Free Fallin' is nice but its hard to outshine Petty's, he also does an amazing cover of All Along The Watchtower and Like A Rolling Stone. Daughters is sappy but sweet.

    This is another great underrated song of his.
