    THE PEOPLES CHAMPIONSHIP
    2016 Lineage and Records

    Rules:
    - First come first serve on challenges issued
    - No stacking of challenges
    - Can not challenge a fight more then 10 days away
    - If champions change their pick after challenge has been set, they forfeit their title and it goes to the challenger
    - Anyone who loses a title fight, must wait until 3 challenges occur before they can challenge again, unless nobody challenges in which case it is free to challenge again.

    Fortuna KO.

Xiao-Cermeno is gonna drive me crazy. Cermeno's got a style that allows him to run close with pretty much anyone he faces, and tends to be able to catch the eye of the judges. Then again, this is in China, so...:think.

China actually tends to be pretty fair with judging, from what I've seen

Nothing like... you know where...

Yeah, Shiming and Yang were both on the wrong end of decisions in China. So it;s just a matter of how this fight plays out, then.

I really have no freaking idea about that. :!:

Why are so many people on Groves via stoppage, out of curiosity.

Matter of Groves being a solid puncher along with being the same size as Murray as opposed to the smaller GGG (who turned the trick and stopped Murray regardless) and Abraham?

Didn't you ask the same thing about Sulecki-Centeno?:think :D

Regardless of how average Groves looked against Jack, Murray isn't all that great and has yet to face a decent puncher at SMW, AA hasn't been able to hurt anyone with an okay chin in quite some time, and even in that match Murray spoiled and held and did everything he could to keep AA from hitting him flush, and since AA needs to be at close range to land his most hurtful shots it was easy for him to do that. Groves on the other hand is a sharpshooter who boxes at range who will be picking off Murray with clean straight shots right down the middle and to the body, Murray can't protect himself as easily from shots like that. Murray was let off the hook by Golovkin, he clearly wanted to get some rounds in, Martinez hurt him late but couldn't adequately sit down on his punches to ever finish him off, and even Abraham stunned him, this should be an easy win for Saint George, who unlike Golovkin won't want to get rounds in and will be motivated to upstage GGG.
