I hate irresponsible assholes, I order stuff off of Amazon.com all of the time and usually I'll go and look out on my porch and there's a package sitting there waiting for me, and its unequivocally sitting ON my porch, today I was supposed to get a package and looked out of my front door, and I didn't see anything, so I figured it hadn't come yet since it took 1 to 2 days to deliver so I shut my door and waited a few hours, and I checked the porch again, still nothing. So I decided to step out on my porch and open the porch door, and lo and behold leaning against my wall, there was the package.

Against the ****ing wall:twisted: Its been RAINING everyday here, and on top of that when its not raining it been on average 97 Degrees Fahrenheit that's 36 Degrees Celsius for you Euros on here.

So I had a package sitting roasting in the 100 Degree sun for probably well over 5 or 6 hours, when its company policy to leave the package in a secure location right next to the front door.:-(

I wish I could smash my mailman in the ****ing face.:twisted:

 

My package was VHS tapes, so imagine this was a big box of about 12 tapes just sitting out there roasting, like your laptop that s*** could have easily melted or gotten damaged by the sun, I'm assuming it gets almost as hot where you live as it does here. Today is a dry heat, the kind when you step out of the front door you can literally feel the oxygen being sucked from your lungs, like in Backdraft.

I was thinking about trying to get a new shipment, but I tried them out and mercifully they worked, but I called them up and yelled at them for about 10 minutes.

 

I live in Cetral Florida and its suffocating here, I paln on moving back to just outside of Miami the first chance I get, at least in Miami there's a constant breeze coming off the ocean, where I live now is about an hour's drive from the Atlantic and the breeze is non existent.:scaredas:

I wonder how bad the thunderstorms get up in Canada?:think

The mother of all Hurricanes....Andrew back in 92, lost 6 huge trees thankfully somehow none of them landed on my roof, we owned a lot and a vacant lost right next to us, with nothing but trees on it.

Then got hit by Charlie, Frances and Jeanne. Lost track of the numbers of Tropical Storms I've been through, probably 10 or so.

 

I added to the last post, that I lost track of how many TS I've been through probably 10 or so.

Thankfully we don't have earthquakes here, I have no desire to deal with that. We have brush fires yearly, so frequently we have an official fire season which lasts year round. Sometimes when I walk out of the front door the air just naturally smells like a campfire.

I was caught in a blizzard in Virginia/Washington D.C. and a Tropical Storm in the North Carolina mountains that was weird.

 

A house, they never effect me personally, I live in a suburban area with several lakes nearby, and about 15 miles away from legit forested areas, so with all of the roads, homes, water and the somewhat thinned out tree population, there's not enough natural kindling for my particular area to erupt in flames, and the fire would have too many lakes and roads to jump to sustain itself.

But they've come as close as 5 miles away, but mercifully they never gotten any closer than that, but I can smell them even when they're 50 miles away most of the time, its stifling when they're really close.
