What would be wrong with Drew winning?

Because he'll win because of missed picks. And yes I know that's how the game is played, but its still a bull**** way to win. Pinoy and I haven't missed a pick, Drew has the same number of wins as I do, and he can say he woulda coulda picked this one or that one, but... we'll never know will we?

Its the same reason poor Drenlou has fallen behind Limerickbox even though he has 13 more wins.:-(

Allow me to clarify my friend.

The ranking isn't based on total number of picks, it's based on the difference between those you get right and those you get wrong.

So for example a man with a 10-0 record would be ranked higher than a man with a 29-20 record despite much less picks.

Now there are arguments either way. You could say that it's better to not just guess picks you are unsure about or you could argue it's better to research further.

For me I would say his record is one of a dedicated player this year who has missed only a handful of fights, however his accuracy is better than yours and the rest of those below him therefore his place is well deserved.

If he wins he deserves huge credit and kudos for being the most accurate poster of 2016.

Yeah you don't have that to explain that to me, I'm well aware of it. His accuracy is even with mine, and he missed 8 picks, so we'll never know how he'd have picked on those, I can guarantee he'd have gotten one or two wrong, and wouldn't be ahead of Pinoy and UTF that's for damn sure.

For the record, I like you Drew, don't take it the wrong way. But this is getting old with you, you do this **** every year.

You, I and the rest of the top 14 are on a similar level, and just like with last year you were either two or three wins behind me or 1 win ahead, and then those missed picks started piling up, and pretty soon our close to equal wins opened up with me taking the lead and conveniently due to our unequal loss record, due to your insane amount of missed picks, no one can catch you, its demoralizing and unfair to players who are as good as you.

Last year final score. How the **** am I supposed to be competitive even though I have 9 more wins than you, when you conveniently miss like 20 matches.

    (-) 9. Drew101 257-83
    (-) 10. kirk 226-54
    (-) 11. Robney 262-94
    (-) 12. CST80 266-102

Its not fair to anybody, especially guys like Robney and I who are very much on your level.

It's never once been an issue before with missed picks and it won't be an issue now.

    Every winner is deserved.

For me personally, I've always classed safe picks as worse than missed picks. Those who pick the same as others to try and protect their place.

The absolute worse is those who change their picks then edit them when they backfire hoping they won't be picked up!

Missing a handful of picks means nothing.

You say that because you suck and aren't competitive, I already have more wins and KO's and less losses than you and I've been playing for a little over a year and a half.

Exactly you've only played a year and a half :good

As a newbie I just think that complaining over a handful of missed picks is a bit silly.

I do my picks at the start of the month and don't always see new ones that are added, it happens.

I don't care how bad I am, I play this league because I enjoy it. Like you, I'll probably never win, but it won't stop me putting my picks down.

But tactical picks are much worse than missed picks imo.

Not that it matter because neither get punished.

The winner will be a worthy one, as they always are :good

I do my picks at the beginning of the month as well, and have since I started.

I complain because its unfair to players who are clearly superior to equal to him skill wise, he mainly misses the Asian matches, which are usually coin flips, in fact a ton of the losses guys in the top 10 have taken have been because of those little midgets over there.

And for the record, I pick who I think is going to win, the 50/50 matches I jump back and forth on, the reality is, I've only played tactically 2 or 3 times. But one thing I never do is miss a pick for possibly tactical reasons.

I'm 4 wins away from taking first place, that means that unlike you, I'm not a bad player... just like most of the other guys in the top 15, and it wouldn't take an insane reversal of fortune for me or any other player to close that relatively small gap. So stop acting like its a foregone conclusion I lose.

Closing the gap isn't all that hard, but it is when you're facing a guy who is uncatchable because he conveniently missed 15 or 20 picks, as much as I mess with Pinoy, if he loses because of that bull****, I'll be mad as hell for him.

The best way I can simplify it for you is by saying the following:

To win this league win more and lose less than all the others.

Everyone has the exact same chance of winning at the start of the year.

Those 2 or 3 are all it takes. Don't throw stones in a glass house :)

Obviously you aren't gonna win  it takes more than a few flip flops to win this league

Don't be mad for him, worry about your own picks and improving your own accuracy :good
