As for skipping picks.

Sometimes theres a fight for some oceanic flyweight belt and I know nothing of the fighters, and Ill give it a pass.

Im giving up the possibility of taking a win, and will be punished by the people who know more about those fighters.

I really dont see whats so great about essentially guessing the winner of a fight that you dont have a strong view on

Don't leave the league drew. If certain people spit their dummy out, let them, just prove then wrong by finishing above them :good

 

Yeah it annoys everyone with some silly arguments on here. Everyone is following the same rules, maybe a few I question like why can we not pick a draw? Seems odd to me as in boxing there are draws, should be 2-3points for that.

I got into a little spat myself with someone below accusing me of copying their picks, I laughed that off haha.

This is meant to be a fun league to challenge against boxing fans alike, be competitive but try not to invest too much emotion into it.

That was my biggest issue last year. I kept guessing wildly and somehow I kept guessing wrong, while according to propability studies that shouldn't happen. I even actually used a coin toss in some cases.

So skipping fights isn't strange or bad. You can't know every fighter from along the globe, and sometimes you just miss them because they start at ungodly hours.

 

Just to add I think everyone appreciate the work and efforts CST and Pinoy put into this league with the fights and updates.

It's fun to see when I climb the league table, but depressing when I drop positions! Fightback!

 

Yup, the ridiculous Japanese cards. 3:00 am cards, ain't nobody has time for that **** man. :-(

You copied every pick I had for a month, maybe more when we were tied.. only thing that separated us were our KO's. I had left off my pick of ****** which I had first, to try to pass you up to no avail. Then when it turned for the worst. But that's another thing luf stated in another post, people who pick the same as others so they don't lose a spot, which is strategic to a Tee..

That's the advantage the people on top have, and we need to deal with it :nod
