For the record I think this was a clearer victory than the Estrada one.

I'd find it hard scoring this to Cuadras, but Estrada could feasibly have been a draw.

 

I said, people normally score it for Gonzalez, I've never seen anyone score it a draw before. I still haven't.

But a lot of the rounds were close and despite Gonzalez being the more accurate, Estrada had a huge advantage in hand speed so I can understand more that fight being scored against Gonzalez.

Against Cuadras the 8th was hard to score, but it would have felt wrong for the decision to go against Gonzalez here.

Estrada fought a better fight but didn't win his rounds as clearly. That's the best way I can explain it. There's a better argument for Estrada winning 6 than there is for Cuadras, despite how well Cuadras finished the fight.

 

Im sure when I originally mentioned it to you i said i was going to watch both fights which i did over the last week or so.

The Estrada fight could feasibly be a draw, and that wouldn't have been a bad decision imo, but I did score it to Roman.

I watched Cuadras again just yesterday. The 8th and the first were both close rounds. Cuadras didn't do any better than Gonzalez in either and giving both his way would be a bit of a stretch. They're difficult to score because I refuse to score even rounds so I had to pick a winner in those two, the 8th was harder than the first to pick a winner in. Finding 7 Cuadras rounds is difficult.

Under no circumstances would I ever just re score one round though, a fight should be scored in context for me. 12 pieces that form one whole. To score one round on its own to adjust my overall scoring goes against the way I see the sport.

That being said, even if I did. It was hard enough giving the round to Gonzalez, would be even harder giving it to Cuadras for me.

 

Yeah as a kid Myers scared the P..iss out of me and soon became an obsession. 70 percent of my collection is custom made mask ( way too much money TBH) and the other 30 percent are from collectors like myself from Myers Dot net where some are limited runs. On myers net you can grab a decent one for like $200

Nah I root against him every fight, I always back the underdog. His whole career that hasn't been him. I even bet money on Cuadras. Couldn't turn the odds down.

I don't particular like Roman, but I respect what he's achieved. Not impressed with his seeming diva attitude towards the Inoue fight.

The Estrada win wasn't decisive. The Cuadras one was, imo.

 

Yo CST one my mask, 78 closet crasher, is actually autographed by Nick Castle who played Myers in the original movie. Paid over $700 and I am the fifth owner of this mask. Taking it to the grave with me bro
