That has a little to do with it, but also you can't base anything on Eggington's loss to Skeete, Gavin lost his match against Skeete as well, the match should have been 8-4, at worst 7-5 for Skeete, that was a robbery, Hearn is huigh on Eggington far higher than he is on Gavin, Eggington hits harder, Gavin isn't as elusive as Skeete, and Sam will probably be more aggressive this time out,

Add to this this is both of their hometowns and Sam is the far more popular fighter supposedly.

Can't say I know enough to highlight the chances of an upset here, haven't liked what I've seen from either guy tbh. Only went with Gavin because the bookies have him as a slight favorite. Pretty sure Eggington was involved with one of the worst fights of the year though, just awful stuff. Could be mistaken though, as I don't really much for the lower weight domestic level Brits.

Well I've seen both Skeete vs Eggington and Gavin, and they were both HORRID fights, because Skeete thinks he's Mayweather, also I wouldn't really say that Gavin is that huge a favorite here, think about it Hearn was pushing Sam for a shot against Danny Garcia a few weeks ago, that tells you all you need to know as far as whose side Eddie is on.

I played this beautifully, I begged Pinoy to add the match, picked Gavin to mislead, fully intending switch to Egg the whole time, my bait and switch strategy paid off.

I have the People's Championship with Lerena's MD win over Nielsen. Any Sismundo or Terrazas backers want to challenge for the belt?

Yeah most likely, I was damn close to switching to Lerena this morning too, I knew they'd rob Micki in SA, but I was hoping he'd score a KD or two and make it impossible for them.

You never know though Sismundo might score a KO.

Actually surprised that only time someone got hurt was when Lerena landed the right hook.

And a Sismundo KO win is definitely what I'm hoping for even though I'm not backing him officially.

I'm not entirely, Larghetti almost KO'd Nielsen in the 12th of their match, he was all over the place, the ref stopped the action for a few seconds, I believe for tape trying to save Micki's ass. But Larghetti is a bigger puncher than Kevin, so I figured Micki wouldn't get shook up this time, he's toast at CW.

I'm rooting for a Sismundo KO too, I usually always root for Filipinos, but I highly doubt it.

    Good call.

Wish I had the balls to go for it. Can't stand Gavin. But given the way Egginton froze completely against Skeete I expected Funtime to do a job.

Nah. I had it 96-94 for Nielsen.
