    1) if it was not highlighted in yellow people would miss the pick.

    2) you made the pick on time.

    3) the result stands.

    4) I'm off to bed now, it's late over here. Hopefully by the time I awaken you have accepted defeat.

    5) I should be locked up

    Yellow DOES NOT matter here.

    LAVENDER DOES.

It was not highlighted in Lavender.

It's also not sour grapes over a wrong pick. I know you're MOSTLY trolling here Luf. But yeah. 5/6 of the top 10 that did pick sided with the loser, and it's pretty much a given that had everyone else gotten their picks in time they'd have likely done the same(most of them at least). 4 people in the top 10(in a very close race with the year winding down)get a boost simply because a fight happened much earlier than expected.... That's what this is about.

Not necessarily. Blade would have picked Khonco and given that he was in better form going into this fight, and I was inclined to pick Simp for the win, too. Missed picks happen...mostly for ill. But on the rare chance that someone benefits from it, then so be it.

I think it should stand, but whatever Pinoy decides is cool by me. Ultimately, he's the one to make the call.

Your pick was on time. South African SuperSport TV posted the result on their twitter when the fight ended (I posted the tweet on pg 634). Other twitter posts confirm that the fight started more than an hour after I posted my pick.

Not true at all mate. Joyi is far from the fighter he once was and has recently been knocked out twice. It's no given anyone would have picked him.

It's also no given any ie would have picked at all, not everyone picks for every fight.

If the fight was in purple that means it wouldn't have been in yellow and thus we would have the same issue.

For many years there was no early fight warning. after all I'm in England so my time zone is different to CST's for instance.

It's a valid concern for next year but for now the result has to stand I'm afraid.

If yellow doesn't matter why do we colour fights yellow?

The Yellow warnings sole purpose is to denote that a new fight has been added, it doesn't mean **** to you or me or bladerunner, because we get all of our picks in at the beginning of the month, and as soon as the new matches are added.

But many players don't they wait until right before the fight happens to add their picks.

LAVENDER was added a few months ago because so many people were missing fights held in Asia or Australia very early in the morning for us in the West, Europeans are just waking up, Americans are usually still asleep.

For some odd reason unbeknownst to Pinoy or myself, or anyone else, they decided to have the match in South Africa really really early in the day, like 7 or 8 hours earlier than usual, which means most of the players didn't have adequate warning the fight would take place and missed their pick.

    Do I benefit, yes, but.....

Of the top 6 UnleashtheFURY, jordan1 and FIGHTER2R managed to get theirs in on time, not Pinoy, not Robney, not Drew101. Which means they all take a loss and the rest don't, which means it could possibly have a direct impact on the outcome of the whole contest.

Now wouldn't really suck if UTF lost this year by one pick? On a technicality.

In the interest of fairness, the match should be scrapped.

So only the top 6 matter now? That's ridiculous.

Times aren't listed for any of the fights. The lavender thing is something CST introduced in September, and it is irrelevant to the fact that Pablinov, Zakman, Rumsfeld and I picked the winner.

In the interest of fairness, we should get credit for the correct pick that we made.

It should be noted that Drinquor hates my guts as does lufcrazy, so they have an agenda.

UnleashtheFURY, jordan1 and Pinoy Prodigy have far greater prospects of winning than the rest of us, so yeah they kind of matter more.

And I didn't introduce ****, I suggested it and Pinoy the guy that runs this league agreed and implemented the change. No one knew the match was early, therefore he nor I were able give anyone proper early morning warning, therefore it effected when the players got their picks in.

I didn't pick anyone in this fight, not because I didn't see it or any of the other excuses.
I simply didn't have a strong opinion on it and chose to sit it out.

The people who chose correctly shouldn't be punished here.

    The pick should clearly stand.

I'm a grown man and don't "hate" people Ive never met on internet forums. Get over yourself.

Its quite simple. Theres literally no reason why people who made the pick should be punished.
You seem to be the only person arguing for it to be scrapped.
