I don't even take part in this any more, but it's clear a pick should stand regardless. Simply a case of you snooze you lose. And those who didn't snooze and still lost, well you better clean all that pie off your face.

:qmeparto: You're so full of **** its not funny, you have no self awareness do you? Get over myself? Says the smarmy condescending guy who believes himself to be enlightened and above everyone, because he doesn't see nationality or culture, or right or wrong or up of down or right or left, he sees nothing but the good in man.

    No Limerickbox.... GET OVER YOURSELF.

There's a new rule, early morning matches have a warning attached, so no one will miss the pick, that was an early morning pick, with no early warning attached.

Its completely unfair to the people who thought they had hours to ponder the match before officially picking only to find out they'd missed it by 8 hours. It was created as a fail safe for people to not miss picks, no one triggered the fail safe in this case, because no one knew it would be that early, therefore counting it would be unfair.

    Whatever you say boss.

Its going to stand, the vast majority are in favour of it standing. Move on and deal with it.

And yip, I don't acknowledge make believe concepts like nationality and race. Why would I believe in made up stuff designed to keep people like you ignorant and obediant?

Last time I checked this wasn't a ****ing democracy, Pinoy asked for input, not a vote.

Maybe because race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and all that other **** isn't made up. Ignoring reality and facts isn't going to make everyone love each other all of a sudden, for such a rugged individualist that's some hardcore utopian thinking you got there, you almost sound like a communist talking like that.

You don't acknowledge reality because you fear ignorance? That's the stupidest ****ing thing I've ever heard.

People are born different, genetically, racially, ethnically, gender, sexuality, and that's okay to acknowledge that. Unless you have some bizarre compulsion to reflexively hate people because they're different.

And from what Pinoy said, hes also in favour of keeping it.

Nationality isn't "reality"...its something you were told in school s you'd pledge your allegiance to a piece of cloth. You need to have this driven home because how else would government lay claim to controlling you if you didn't believe in some fairytale about nationalism?

People are born differently period. Some are tall, some are short, some have different colour hair, eyes, skin. Giving it silly labels is the issue.
You're a person, I'm a person, the dude across the street is a person. That's it.

Ill let Doug take it from here.

Pinoy hasn't made his mind up yet, he's mulling it over.

Where did I say anything about nationalism?

And Doug Stanhope is a drug addled idiot who's girlfriend just OD'd on coke and fell down and cracked her head open, and he's not very funny I really don't care what he has to say.

For the record, I'm not a huge fan of nationalism either, remember I'm the guy who wrote an article trying to encourage Americans to be more excepting of Asian,Latin, African or European fighters coming here, so you're preaching to the choir pal.

Yup, most of the great artists, actors and comedians were drug users.
    Your point?

He said he's keeping it, I've agreed with him.

    I'll accept your apology later.

Actually.... he didn't, he asked for people's input. He was leaning towards keeping it.

You have incredibly poor reading comprehension for a teacher. It took you about 20 tries to comprehend the Yellow/Lavender debate, and now you think Pinoy said he was definitively keeping it.

The vast majority of them (in the millions) are addlebrained morons who OD and die or get strung out and wreak havoc on everyone in their vicinity, and a handful become successful artists in spite of their addiction problems.

I have no use for drugs whatsoever, they ruin peoples lives and the lives of those nearest and dearest to them, just because a few of our heroes were drug addicts it doesn't somehow mean drugs are good, they succeeded in spite of their addictions not because of it.

First you're trying to disprove science, and now you're trying to make broad sweeping generalizations about drug users, you're on a roll. Drugs are for weak minded people who can't cope with reality.

I think your last paragraph contradicts itself slightly. And I say that as a former drug user myself
