Pinoy I just added N'Dam vs. Blanco and Soro vs. Lawal (just gave Murray all he could hanta SMW) both are official now, and up on Boxrec.

I'm assuming these are both matches you add, but if not, tell me, I'll delete them.

    If we keep them,

    N'Dam SD
    Soro UD

Mate don't be paranoid I never attack you.

I sometimes throw out light hearted needles but there's never any malice.

I don't mean to get under your skin.

I hardly been here this last couple of days, and only posted a couple of times after the biggest fight of the year. But I do have to get something off my chest.

After again being struck in the face by boxing's worst side, I really am majorly pissed off... Again there's a blatant robbery, and again the one getting the gift acts like he not only won fair and square, but beat his foe easily, as insult to injury.

But that's not even the worst part. Not that boxing added another two robberies in favor of the home fighters this year, not that they act like they earned it too... No, but that there's actually a big contingent here and among the writing press that acts like nothing bad happened. Writing up ways to score the fight so there's a way that you could give it to the wrong person. Using/abusing everything wrong with boxing's way of scoring a fight, to act like all is fine... NO IT FACKING ISN'T!

Why do some only speak up when a guy they like gets screwed over?
There has only been one instance in which I was ok with a robbery! One single instance, and only because that actually served boxing a little in my mind.
That was Froch vs Dirrell, which I had Dirrell edging in a fight that you basically (although close) couldn't really give to Froch. I was ok that they did though because of the extreme negativity of Dirrell in that bout, and I don't think that kinda sh_t should be rewarded. But it still bothers me in the back of my mind.
But, that's the ONLY one! I always speak out against a robbery, even when I'm rooting for the guy, and there have been many instances.

These robberies will keep occurring, and less big fights between different nationalities will happen because nobody wants to get screwed over at someone else's backyard. Certainly when the fans of the "winner" keep acting like it was all very just, and only care about getting that win, no matter how undeserved.

I loved boxing for over 30 years now, but I don't think I can take much more if this keeps happening and I might just give up watching.

    Rant over...

    2 things mate.

    1) I don't think it was a robbery at all. I had it 6-6 in rounds. And loads of those were close rounds.

    2) politics and match making is putting me off boxing. The best just don't fight each other anymore. kovalev v ward was mega hyped but in theory Stevenson is champion and this should just determine his challenger. I really cba with the lack of fights between the legit top men in a division and this fight proves it to me. How they can call that a championship fight is beyond me. I've began turning to UFC because of this issue. I'm a huge fan of boxing history and the way that the sport was compared to way it is now angers me.

Wasn't Crolla nailed in the head by a brick/rock or some such? What's with professional fighters getting assaulted by criminals with bricks?
