Here's mine, as a point of comparison, and is also probably why he and I clash so often.....

I'm a Scorpio Rising and a Virgo Midheaven, which is what I project on this site, so.......?

Scorpio Rising
The main characteristics of a desirable nature and good for cultivation are expressed by such words as these: activity, energy, positiveness, fearlessness, eloquence, devotion, patience, ambition, willpower, and tenacity.

The most probable less-than-desirable characteristics for correction are denoted by these key words and terms: severity, callousness, stubbornness, bitter sarcasm, an overly-suspicious nature, spitefulness, vindictiveness, dogmatism, cruel shrewdness, rude bluntness, obsession with sexual matters, and being overly-passionate about nearly everything. All of these undesirable traits and inclinations either have been or can, in time, be improved upon, markedly corrected, or overcome totally by the conscientious and proper mental application of your outstandingly-positive qualities, and your determination and perseverance.

Mysterious, slow-moving, evolutionary, obscure, and determined Pluto rules the facades and external egos of all you with this sign rising at the time you were born. Above all else, you are strongwilled, consistent, and persistent as you go about handling all matters of consequence and importance to your daily affairs. You probably don't even know the meaning of the word "can't" because once you set your mind to do something, you will no matter how much time and energy may be required. You accomplish it -- or you want to know why it can't possibly be done.

However apparently gregarious, outgoing, and friendly you may appear on the surface, there are many things about yourself and your life which you do not and will not reveal to others. You are inclined to be secretive generally as you don't tend to trust others too easily or quickly. You seldom forget a wrong or slight from others and are not averse to "getting even" when you can find any opportunity to do so.

With this fixed (stable/resistent-to-change) sign rising, the height of you natives is variable; but most of you tend to be well below average to average; tall is rare. You often are a "boxy," roundishly, muscular type. You could be rather hefty, sometimes even a bit more than "pleasingly plump." Normally the head is of average length and often rather flat on top. The hair tends to be dark in color, thick, usually curly. It's not uncommon that there is an abundance of body hair.

The nose may be either aquiline or concave, and tends to fullness at the tip. Care should be taken of the skin as it tends to be quite oily. (Most of you are lucky to leave adolescence without taking some scars or acne marks with you into adult life.) The teeth may be short and could be spaced rather far apart.

The eyes may shine brilliantly, are very magnetic, dark as a rule, and round. The voice has a deep, strong tone and is compelling; others may comment that it is very "sexy." There is a preference for quality clothes and to care about the appearance, but little desire for ostentation (except to look "sexy"). There is a rather special manner about your walk; it seems to have a bounce or swing to it which makes it seem you are "wagging" an invisible tail; it might even be called seductive.

Your general character is quite complex as intellect and emotion, will and the desires fight a perpetual battle for control. The overall mentality may be extremely introspective, analytical, and intuitive. The dominant urge is to get to the root of everything that intrigues you. The memory typically is especially keen.

The emotions are quite intense and, in the final analysis, the most powerful force in the total makeup. Since Scorpio is such a wiry sign, it gives you a strong constitution. However, because of your very accented determination it's entirely possible for you to drive yourself to the very limits of endurance, which could result in some type of collapse under acute emotional strain. Fortunately, your recuperative powers are very good -- and rapid. Your life-pattern is very active, often combative, and usually quite successful -- especially in the latter part of life.




Virgo Midheaven

Virgo Midheaven knows how to analyze the world as well as themselves down to every little detail. They have a naturally critical attitude. When they are balanced, they are supportive in their critiques. When they are not, it comes across as manipulative or petty.

Those born with a Midheaven in Virgo have the courage to honestly look deep into themselves and use what they learn as a guide. Language is a healing tool to them. They use it in all their daily activities. Their good handle on language can direct them toward a career in science or the literary arts. Teaching may also be appealing to them, as may training or research of some kind. They make excellent librarians, medical personnel and may also be drawn to farming or alternative medicine depending on other signs coming into play in their chart. Whatever they choose, they take their commitments seriously. Virgo Midheaven tends to play it safe when choosing a career. They may feel something is missing in their job, that they are unable to fulfill their potential. While this may be due to attitude in part, sometimes they really do need to seek inner guidance on how they can best fulfill their potential and still make a living. They have the ability to see the big picture, and strive for the better.

Individuals with a Midheaven In Virgo aren't subtle; they would rather tell you directly the crux of the matter. They learn easily and question anything that doesn't feel right. Stability is important in their career. They want to know what is going to happen every day, every year. This prevents them from falling prey to stress, which can really cause them damage. Mental pursuits are enjoyable and relaxing for them. Chess or other mental game may be a good way for them to get away from the stress at work.

The Virgo Midheaven is inherently neat, though they can live in a chaotic environment and still get what they need to be happy. It is not unusual to see them trying to create order. They get the concept of simplifying. They don't need a lot of money to live well. They do well with puzzling situations because they can put all the pieces together and come up with a solution.

Virgo Midheaven's weakness lies in over-analyzing. If they do this, they tend to get stuck, which looks like indecision. They have a tendency to hang on to things, both physical and mental, long after they should have released them. It may be difficult to establish their own authority, but once they do, they will probably strive to make the world better. Meditation may be helpful to quiet their minds and connect with their inner guidance.
They don’t believe in living in the fantasy world and will be very much in touch with the reality. Their practical approach is one of their biggest strength.

Analytical
The Virgo possess an analytical mind and see things in black and white. They are capable of producing a clear analysis and thereby a solution of even the most complicated problems.
Reliable
You can trust a Virgo for following the instructions and trying his best to do the job well. Besides, he is a rational person and would not let emotions affect his decisions.
Overcritical
They have such a clear picture in their minds as to how things should be, the Virgo tend to be overcritical and lose the plot in the process.
Meticulous
No detail, regardless of how small or big it is, can escape the watchful eyes of a Virgo Midheaven. Their attention to detail is praiseworthy
Fussy
They often get lost in details and they will not have a peace of mind till they resolve all the issues. Besides, their strong likes and dislikes make them quiet fussy.
Fastidious
Pleasing or impressing a Virgo is tough job, as anything less perfect (in their eyes) does not make the cut.
Harsh
They call a spade a spade and they don’t sugar-coat their opinions before putting them across. Their harshness does not always go down well with the people around them.
Conservative
They are conservative and won’t readily accept modern ideas. Maybe it has to do with their need to test the waters and be sure of the outcome.
Judgmental
They are criticized for being judgemental. They cannot ignore faults and mistakes as anything less than perfect is not good enough for them.
