    Definitely possible... But don't think he has the power and hasn't proven himself to be a serious threat at CW. Chak has his issues in the stamina and chin department, but they've only really revealed themselves against the upper echelons of the division.

    Yeah I'm worried about his size/power too. That coupled with Lebedevs age and slight decline. Still.... This is a massive step up from the Shimmels and Thomas' of the world. It might just be too much to soon.

    Possibly, but with the size, reach and power Lebedev's tendency to retreat a lot, I see Lebedev gassing from the pressure and Gassiev cornering him and unloading several times forcing a late stoppage, and it wrecks me to pick Gassiev here, because I'm rooting for Lebedev, but let's be honest he's old and has been in a lot of wars and so has Ramirez and Kalenga his best recent wins, this more and more has the feeling of a passing of the torch type match, add to that Ryabinsky pulling some strings and getting the belt taken off of the table tells me they lack faith in Denis pulling it off.

    I'm just hoping as a Lebedev fan that Gassiev is Kudryashov all over again... I agree with your concerns, except Lebedev is probably in more danger early on than late. The longer it goes... The more I favor him. Remember Gassiev is a massive CW and could very well have some stamina issues(he's gone rounds but not against this kind of opponent) There's still a lot of unknown with him... and that's what makes this fight so interesting, can't wait!
