It really burns your ass up that I'm as cocky and unapologetically arrogant as I am doesn't it? It makes you very insecure doesn't it, it makes you want to flex your alpha male muscles, its very cute, you're like a growling puppy dog trying to compete with his bigger far more badass father.

Thanks Mate :thumbsup:You're doing pretty well too,you have a shot at winning this again. As for me i spent 11 months outside of the top ten now i'm top five but I dont think i can get higher than fourth place let alone get my usual runner up spot:sisi1 I think its just too far. Still a long way to go and some tough picks ahead so anything from top five maybe even top three or perhaps even finish outside of the top ten is possible. Good luck mate, hopefully this ends with me saying on the last pick of the year "Whoever Drew picks i pick the other guy":dogpile: for the top spot.:deal:

Cause sometimes i dont enjoy the fights as i should cause i'm rooting for a result to go my way even when its against my favorites, sometimes i just want to watch the fights without caring who wins or who loses cause of a pick i made you know what i mean, the same happens when i enter in the fantasy Tour de France instead of enjoying the race without caring much about who wins i'm getting mad cause riders on my fantasy team crash out of the race or are getting dropped in the mountains,You probably could relate cause i see you getting pissed when one of the picks dont go your way(which i find hillarious in a good way). I tought to myself a few months ago when i was outside the top ten that if i finished in the top five maybe i would continue if not i would probably quit...But i dont know this is a bit addictive and when the new league(2017) starts its hard to stay out of it...Thanks for you support and thanks for your work in the league it means a lot..Keep doing you mate,if ppl get mad thats their problem ...We cant and shouldnt try to please everybody

That sums up my feelings perfectly, so much so I occasionally intentionally shoot myself in the foot so as to not have to root against a guy I love, that's one of the really sucky side effects of doing this, I had someone over for Pacquiao-Vargas, and they asked me what the hell was my problem, how could I be rooting for Vargas to KO Pacquiao (because I'm a Pac fan) and that struck a chord and I got annoyed with myself and felt shitty about it. Same with the Tour De France, its gone from something I just relax and enjoy to something I get passionately enraged about on almost a daily basis the last few years. That also has a lot to do with Froome and Sky winning so much, which pains me immensely.

Don't worry if being a Mod hasn't changed me, nobody's opinion or negative reaction to me can, I'm stubborn like that.:sisi1

I'm glad to hear you might stick around next year, and hope you do, same goes for Drew as well, in spite of our recent interactions, and thank you for the compliment.

Yo Drenlou, you and I share Pisces in Mercury, which supposedly has an effect on the way people think and communicate, does this sound like you at all? Because it really sums me up quite well.

I read this a few days ago and found it interesting.

How People With Mercury in Pisces Think
How does a person with Mercury in Pisces communicate with others? Well, these are the poets and the painters, the lovers and the dreamers, the writers and the singers. They are the philanthropists who will give someone else their own coat if they think that person is colder than they are. But abstract thought is not all about flowers and sunsets. Albert Einstein dreamed up that theory of relativity too. This shows that practical actions can also come from a person who thinks in abstract terms, giving us a more complete picture of the way a Mercury in Pisces communicates.

    Vivid Imaginations
These are people with vivid imaginations who can visualize their thoughts. They are telepathic on an unconscious level. Because Mercury in Pisces communications are so much in the psychic realm, they must be careful they are not too influenced by the thoughts of those who surround them. They will pick up on other people’s moods in a matter of minutes, even if they are just sitting on a bus next to an irritated or upset person. They arrive at their conclusions mostly by their intuitions, not by logical reasoning, and it works just fine. Mercury in Pisces people learn by osmosis anyway, so disciplined study is not really their thing. They learn by intuitive perceptions, and watching people and situations. This teaches them more than they will ever learn from a book, though reading as an escape once in a while is an activity which will appeal to them. Their psychic abilities may make it seem like they have a peculiar way of thinking, because they just “know” things. This writer grew up with two Pisces people in the family, and gratefully accepts that they sense things and know if something is wrong without being told.

Since Pisces is a mutable or changeable sign, what kind of house would they like to live in? This writer thinks a houseboat would be the perfect thing! Cancer is the first water sign, but the cardinal and leadership one, and water that changes really often would represent them, such as the ocean, with its waves and tides. Scorpio is the fixed water sign, and so a frozen lake or iceberg in the sea would represent them. But the body of water that represents a Mercury in Pisces person is a slowly meandering river that has a lot of changing scenes along the shore.

    Need Privacy
These are people whose minds can be easily biased by unconscious emotional patterns, based on their past experiences. Now, this happens to most of us at some time or other. But Pisces Mercury people must be careful they do not get so trapped by their negative memories that it makes them neurotic. It can be that way if they take it to extremes, or have difficult or strong planetary aspects to their Mercury.

But the norm is to find a sensitive and imaginative person, with a lot of artistic ability, who is sympathetic and really understands what it is like to be in another person’s shoes. Unscrupulous people can play on their empathetic natures, so if you have a friend or loved one with this Mercury position, try to watch out for that. They have fluctuating emotions which can cause a lot of vacillation in decision making and communication. Daydreaming is a big tendency, but then to think up such creative ideas, one has to do a lot of daydreaming!

Mercury in Pisces communicators are great story tellers. They notice all the details and soak up all the feelings of whatever situation they are in, so are great at expressing themselves. They can be the life of the party, but are actually private people, who require time alone pretty often. This is not because they are angry or upset, privacy is just a big need of theirs. They are often secretive about themselves until they are sure they trust someone, and will keep their private thoughts to themselves. This will cause them to seem shy, but they really are not, it is just a Mercury position which requires seclusion once in a while. So don't be surprised if your Mercury in Pisces person disappears for a few days. They need to clear their heads. Then when their need for quiet is over, they will go someplace else, pick up all their friends, and home turns into a party until the next mood change.

    Highly Psychic
Sometimes Mercury in Pisces people have a bit of a persecution complex. They tend to be a tad oversensitive, and may think somebody criticized them when that was not the person’s intention. They need to try to be more impersonal in their thinking and in their perception of reality, something that is easier to say than to do.

These people are like walking encyclopedias, they pick up little facts and interesting tidbits of knowledge no matter what they are doing. They are quick studies who can easily adapt to any kind of situation, even one they just walked into, and “know” the exact requirements of the moment. How do they do that? You can try to get them to explain it, but unless you have psychic abilities yourself, it will not be easy to understand. They are natural mediums too. Of course, we all have psychic ability, it’s just that all of us do not try to develop it.

A few years ago this reader was in a Metaphysical store with a friend; we were taking a course together. A psychic was walking around the store, just introducing herself, and telling us things that she never could have known about people she never met. She had both of us crying—me about a message from my Father who died when I was in my 20’s—she knew I had a son whose middle name was my Father’s first name, among other things, and what the name was. The second message was from my friend’s husband who had died a few years prior to that night. He wanted to tell her it was OK with him if she started to date again, he was afraid she was getting lonely! I asked the psychic her sign, and of course it was Pisces, though most water signs have these abilities. Even if your Sun is in Aquarius or Aries, Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, so people of those Sun signs have a good chance of having Mercury in Pisces.

Dream Home for a Mercury in Pisces Person
Mercury in Pisces minds can absorb a lot of information, which comes in really handy for memorizing things before tests in college and such. They get bored really easily, so love to travel, that’s why a houseboat would be such an appealing way for them to live. Being near the water is very soothing for water signs anyway. These people are great judges of human nature, they know who can be trusted and who can’t just by being near them. They are very diplomatic and good natured most of the time, except for those days when they need their private time. Versatile, ingenious, dexterous, Mercury in Pisces have many positive qualities.

Their kind hearts lead them to wanting to help those less fortunate, so they often work in hospitals, jails, hospices, schools for people with special needs, or regular hospitals. They have healing qualities in their natures. Plus working in a large institution seems to quell some of that need to be secluded sometimes, as one worker does not stand out so much in a large building. Last year this writer worked on a series of people from each Astrology sign, and discovered that Pisces people were the ones who gave the most time and money to charity. When a Mercury in Pisces communicator is trying to get a point across, it is often about someone other than themselves. How can you not love such kindhearted old souls? They truly deserve to float down that lazy river, dreaming up new ways to help people and show them a good time.
