Yeah, very likely. Just last year was a pain, lots of work, constantly missing fights. Just got frustrating.

Glad to hear it, hopefully you can fully concentrate this year, maybe we can have a Top 20 that's only separated by 10 picks by the end of 2017.

Great to play in the background, its just music, if you're a fan of 80's Italian Sci-Fi flicks by way of Vice City.

This one is pretty good too, very Daft Punkish, only not nearly as annoying.

I scrounged up your All Time Rankings, and moved them over to the new thread about an hour ago.

Movies I watched from your list are Captain America: Civil War, Blood Father, X-Men Apocalypse, Star Trek Beyond, Allegiant, BvS, and Deadpool. I really liked Civil War and Star Trek Beyond. Deadpool exceeded my expectations. Blood Father and X-Men Apocalypse were average. BvS is meh. Allegiant was complete trash IMO.

Heard that Gods of Egypt and Alice 2 are two of the worst movies of the year, seen them in a lot of people's top 10 worst lists. Don't know if I could conjure up the courage to even see if they're right.

Movies that I really enjoyed from 2016:
    Hell or High Water
    The Lobster
    The Nice Guys
    10 Cloverfield Lane
    Nocturnal Animals
    Deepwater Horizon
    The Handmaiden
    The Witch
    Everybody Wants Some!!
    Train to Busan
    The Conjuring 2
    Zootopia
    Me Before You
    The Jungle Book

    Decent movies from 2016:
    Green Room
    The Accountant
    Don't Breathe
    Finding Dory
    Lights Out
    Sing Street
    Swiss Army Man

Movies that I didn't really enjoy from 2016 (I avoid bad movies like the plague):
    Allegiant
    Suicide Squad
    BvS

Haven't watched a lot of good ones (from what I've heard) like Arrival, Moonlight, La La Land, or Moana yet, but hopefully I will in the next few weeks.

I concur Suicide Squad was a heinous piece of s***,I didn't think BvS was that bad, I hated Eisenberg in it, I thought his casting as Luthor was asinine but the rest I loved, I'm a fan of old school Sci-Fi films from the 70's like Logan's Run, The Omega Man and Soylent Green and the Divergent films have that vibe, so they may effect me differently than most, they're definitely better than the Twilight movies.

Alice 2 and Gods of Egypt were solid, GOE was the victim of a SJW PC campaign where all the movie critics dumped on it because it had a bunch of white guys playing fictional as in not real Egyptian Gods. Who cares? Alex Proyas the director of The Crow and Dark City did it and it really captured the feel of the Ray Harryhausen movies from the 50's, so if you're into those, then its good. Alice 2 was like Alice 1, only with Sasha Baron Cohen who's great in the film.

I've been meaning to watch The Nice Guys that looks good, I thought Cloverfied was good but somewhat overrated, and I hated The Witch, watch Ingmar Bergman's movies if you liked it, they're actually good. I'm probably going to watch Lights Out this week. I thought about renting The Jungle Book, but I hesitated, I might check it out.

I really enjoyed the entire vibe of The Witch. It was very different from a lot of the horror movies of this day that relies a lot on cheap jump scares. A lot of people were turned off by the ending but I thought it was great. It was a slow burn but I'd like to say it was calculatedly paced. Elle Fanning was great. The guy who played the dad too.

The Nice Guys is a really good buddy-cop type film set in the 70s. Really fun action and comedy movie. Ryan Gosling and Crowe were great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Loads of people have this in their top 10 for the year. I think it doesn't quite make my top 10 but top 20 for sure.

Really liked 10 Cloverfield Lane aside from the ending which didn't really fit the vibe set by the rest of the film. Yeah they had to fit it to the universe but meh. Great movie.

I get why a lot of people really liked The Witch, but it was beyond derivative for me, you should check out some of Bergman's earlier work if you liked it, they're much better and just as methodical and haunting, some of his films have stuck with me for years. The touch on much of the same subject matter as The Witch and are just as shocking and hold up today, very easily.

Just watch a few minutes of these, and I'm sure you'll be hooked. And be surprised at how similar in vibe they are with The Witch.
