Molina-Lundy. Watch this fight on ESPN2. This is a great matchup between two prospects. Lundy is very small, but he can move and give problems to Molina. Why will that give problems to Molina, well, last year on ShoBox Molina made his first step up against the craft veteran Martin Honorio, and lost almost every round. The thing is can Lundy keep moving and making the huge John Molina miss? I don't think he can. I think Lundy has successearly, but I believe Molina's constant pressure and punching power will breakdown Lundy late. I guess the fight I'm thinking this can turn out to be is a matchup of say a Margarito-Cotto...not on that level, but sort of like it it terms of the matchup.

Escobedo-Beltran...This should be a great fight (If it's still on, because I just checked Boxrec and didn't see it) but if it is still on. It should be great. Beltran's KO earlier this year is easily the most underrated KO this...go on YouTube and check it out. Beltran Ko'ing David Torres. Beltran is a pressure fighter and Escobedo had problems fighting backwards when he fought Katsidis. This will be a close close fight, but with the nod going to Escobedo.

Saul Alverez KO's Cuello...not much needs to be said here.

I think JuanMa handles Concepcion with ease really, and stops him late.

Hernan Marquez is nobody to sneeze about. He has a chance to give Donaire some problems, will he win? Eh, not likely I don't like his chances, but I think he will last the distance with Donaire and as always he has that "puncher's chance".

that's exactly how i felt, especially after seeing lundy on the floor before and molina standing up to a 12rd ass whoopin from el brochas....brochas might not be a huge puncher, but he's a pretty big lightweight with decent pop and a high workrate........btw, do you know if martin honorio got robbed in his last fight...i didnt see it and i was really looking forward to him getting a title shot this year but he lost a MD to argeniz mendez a few months ago.......i didnt get to watch it

 

Yea, I was surprised when I saw Honario lose. I don't think it was televised because it was the undercard of the Williams-Frog fight I believe, and all HBO showed was the main event, but I was surprised to see he lost as well. Especially, considering he outboxed Molina and then his next fight he easily beat Hilario.

Id seen him fight before on FNF i think against Archuleta or someone like that and he was one tough SOB.

Thats why i thought he would win as Lundy looked soft.

 

Me too bro. I bet a bit of money on Lundy and to see him dominating Molina like he did for most of the match and then just giving the fight away like he did almost made me sick. Lundy is a total idiot to showboat like he did. Hopefully he learned a valuable lesson.
