Can I change to Raul Martinez UD? I'll kick myself if Guerrero wins but I'm not picking against literally everyone else.
Exactly how i feel. I was impressed with Guerrero's showing against Vic and it wouldnt be surprised if he ends up beating Martinez but this is too late in the season to take a risk like that.
Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams II- Paul Williams UD Raul Martinez vs. Rodrigo Guerrero- Raul Martinez UD Zsolt Erdei vs. Samson Onyango- Zsolt Erdei by KO Robert Stieglitz vs. Enrique Ornelas- Robert Stieglitz by UD Here we go here we go, another great weekend of boxing. We got a rematch of a FOTY canidate last year, a good fighter making his 3rd U.S. fight, but his debut since becoming a World Champ at 175 and at 200, we got a talented fighter against a tough cookie, and we got a good fighter fighter defending his 168 belt against the brother of a fighter that he was KO'd by. Alright, let's start off with the Erdei-Onyango fight, because it's a mismatch. Erdei should run over Onyango because Konstantin Piternov, a prospect at 175 that doesn't hit hard, stopped him within 5. So, Zsolt should do the same. I've got Zsolt Erdei by a quick stoppage. Then we got Raul Martinez taking on Rodrigo Guerrero and this one will probably be a mismatch as well, but Guerrero is a very very tough cookie. He was able to take Vic Darchinyan's shots back in March for 12 rounds and lose by a very wide UD. So, he is in for a very tough fight with the talented Raul Martinez and Martinez should win by a wide UD. It will be interesting to see if he can stop Guerrero because he can hit very hard as well. Then we got the mouthwatering fights. Starting off with Robert Stieglitz-Enrique Ornelas fight. Stieglitz back in 2008 lost to Librado Andrade by 8th round stoppage. His opponent is Enrique Ornelas is Andrade's brother and fights the exact same way as his brother. So, will the same happen? I don't think so, but wouldn't be surprised. Ornelas has gained experience over that time and Ornelas isn't as good as his brother. What would shock me is if Stieglitz stops Ornelas. I think Ornelas gives Stieglitz a run for his money, but does eventually comes up short. Then we got the main event of the night Sergio Martinez-Paul Williams II. This is a 50-50 fight and for these past couple of weeks I have been leaning towards Sergio Martinez, but really just today I have changed my pick to Paul Williams. I think with Paul Williams having a full training camp of getting ready for a slick southpaw and he in Puerto Rico sparring with Carlos Quintana will be key. While you can argue Sergio Martinez is also having a full training camp getting ready for Paul Williams he won't get as gassed, and to an extent I agree, but against Kelly Pavlik from round 5-8 he looked exactly the same as he did versus Paul Williams from rounds 4-9. Also, in those rounds Paul Williams used his size (to an extent) to keep some distance off of Sergio Martinez and used his jab, and he had major success doing that instead of the his typical approach of "I'm just going to run right at you throwing 100 punches until I win" because when he did that he got he got clocked time and time and time again by the right hook. I think in this rematch, the fight won't be as good as the first one due to two reasons. One, based off history the 2nd fight is usually never as good the first fight (with few exceptions of course, that's why I said "usually") and two I will bank that Paul Williams will use his size to hit Sergio Martinez and not get hit quite as often. So, with all that said, I believe Williams wins a close fight around the 8-4 mark....and it seems as though the majority of people are taking Sergio Martinez, so I figure let's go against the grain and pick Paul Williams. It's a 50/50 fight, should be an entertaining fight and let's all enjoy yet another great weekend of boxing! :good (and hopefully, it won't be too close of a fight. Otherwise we will get all kinds of people crying robbery atsch )
I can only assume you made this post to take an indirect shot at me. This is war. If I had any money, I'd bet you on something to put you in your place.

Explosive is right Tackle! Cant wait.... Damnit though if I dont like both these guys so much that it sucks one of them has to lose. I hope for a good fight, with no serious injuries and for the loser to be able to bounce back. That being said, lets get ready for a battle. :happy
Never would have expected that to happen. A one punch KO! Wow, big props to Sergio Martinez who is now #3 P4P! (or at least for me)
You can definitely make that argument. He's jus a strong, fast, intelligent guy in there who is willing to mix it up to get his shots in. He's gonna be hell for anyone he fights from Middleweight on down. 168lbs is pretty stacked for him to be moving up into it, but he could get some wins for sure.
