And Tackle, I dont want to sway your decision because I dont want to be the cause of you NOT making any money when you could have, but personally, I wouldnt make that bet. I have not seen Bika fight in a long long time, but unless he is completely shot now, I really dont see how Ward will stop him in this one. Just IMO.

Mah, have to make up my mind pretty soon. I looked back at Wards fight with Shelby Pudwill (And yes I know comparing Pudwill to Bika is absolutely crazy) and he did show some quite good attacks. He didn't stop Kessler because Kessler has a great chin. He didn't stop Green because he decided to go into super close infighting where there's no chance to throw any knockout shots. So basically I'm just wondering which style Ward will present tonight. I think though I'm gonna try give it a go. And mate I'd never come back to blame anyone for any decision like that haha. Well except BigBone maybe.

    Ward UD Bika

Screw those scores. Pathetic. Ward won alright, but a shutout? Get out of here.
Froch please stay out of Oakland.

    120-108
    118-110
    118-110

Bika is a warrior. What a fight he produced.

Holy cow what a weekend! Goddamn, I love boxing! I might produced my shittiest Kirk scores but who really cares? (You guys do, I know)

Hasegawa - what a fight what a comeback!
Froch - pulled a MAB and put on a clinic
Litzau - damn who saw that one coming?
Berto - speed and power, the idea of Pac-Andre just got more interesting
Ward - haven't see that one yet. What woulda been the fair scores?
And Juan Manuel Marquez Goddamn what a warrior! He just can't be discouraged no matter what you throw at him. Holy **** what a fight! Respect to Katsidis, he sold his money punch, but just wasn't quite enough, but who cares, we want and HBO will put him back on screen soon.

And not a bad day at the box office after all. In the last few days I earned quite some Kirk money

What was pretty awsome this weekend was it was just a real night of boxing.

Wasnt just one fight and then done, or even two. It was a full night of the stuff, a boxing fans wish pretty much.

Complete props to Jason, registering a win which I am sure will be the biggest of his entire career. It is touching when one of these trailhorse type fighters finally win a big fight, regardless of the reasons. Couldnt help but feel good for him last night.

My heart broke for Katsidis, but I think most knew the outcome when the fight was signed. Katsidis is one of my fav fighters in the sport, period, and when he put JMM down I was yelling and out of my seat, but it wasnt to be. JMM the master, the wizard, was leveled HARD, but was pretty much in control by the end of that very round. Props to JMM for showing what makes him a great fighter (beatuiful punch accuracy, amazing poise, fights going backwards as if its nothing, the list goes on) I wanted Katsidis to win so bad... damn. But the most important thing is the fight, like Kats whole career, shows who he is on the inside, and each and every time Kats shows that kind of heart, and that kind of character (he really is one of the nicest, and classiest fighters in boxing), he is a winner, and he, nor anybody, should have any doubt that his brother was extremely proud of him, along with his fans.

Froch vs AA, happy for Froch, cant wait for his next fight. AA needs to move back down to 160 IMO. Doubt he will though, I think AA was having a hard time making the weight. Still, I am highly, highly interested in the next rounds fights, and I think the super six still has some juice left.

Ward vs Bika, pretty much how it was expected to go I think, was a good fight for Ward to go through, I think those type of fights will help mold him into an even tougher fighter. Props to Bika for coming in and making it a war.... he did his best and he can leave the arena with his head held high. Wards skills and composure sealed a tight victory.

Berto did as good as can be expected against an underwelming opponent. It is what it is.

All in all, loved this weekend, love that we still have some good fights for Dec, and hope everyone had a good time this weekend.

Just finished catching up on the fights (I was in Ottawa last night for the hockey game and missed the fights live). Some GREAT action for boxing last night. What a phenomenol evening of entertainment. Litzau stepped out of the shadows, Berto scores a quickie, Marquez puts on a great boxing session (and man do you ever feel for Katsidis, that postfight interview was heartwrenching), Froch looked tremendous over Abraham, and Ward goes through a great fight to gain the experience he'll need in his career.

At first when I heard about Ward vs. Bika I thought it was just terrible matchmaking because Bika is so tough and awkward and anything can happen in a fight against that sort of guy. However, it became clear as I began watching that Ward is the sort of guy who craves this sort of challenge. I am so impressed by Ward's ability to just focus on the task at hand and approach everything with the same amount of determination and focus. You give him a tough fight, he's going to be razor sharp and outwill his opponent. You give him an "easy" fight, and he'll have that exact same mindset. I rarely say this, but we're witnessing in progress a future hall of famer and All-Time Great.

Cant believe there is only one more month..... wow.

I am going to be interested in putting the All Time Rankings together... which IMO is important and says a lot its in own right, and also looking forward to adding a new chapter to our history here, while putting up the new (or maybe BigBone recaptures the lead and defends his title succesfully for the year) champions pic on the belt.

anyways, we still got a month left..... with plenty of good fights,

and with quite possibly, the greatest single day of boxing that I can remember.

    Khan vs Maidana
    Ortiz vs Peterson
    Vic vs Mares
    King Kong vs Perez

    unbelievable.

    Cant wait! :deal
