    I rewatched the Cotto/Pac fight and noticed 3 things.

    ONE!

    Cotto NEVER missed a solid uppercut. Everytime he threw it, it landed. Spliced right through Manny's guard. Clottey is ****in' AMAZING at throwing that **** on a short notice.

    TWO!

    Manny was most effective against Cotto when they traded. Clottey won't trade, but rather pick his shots from his shell as he always does and Manny is ALWAYS open when he throws. It's his feet that save him. But it won't be that way when fighting Clottey

    THREE!

    Pacquiao's gonna be cut by a headbutt. Think about all the fights Clottey's recently been in and you'll notice a trend. Cuts from headbutts. Cotto, Judah, Baldomir...HEADBUTTS! And if Pacquiao is cut...he's gonna fight like ****. Most fighters do and Pacquiao ain't any different. Marquez had him cut and he was outboxed and getting ****ed up left and right for a solid 8 rounds. Clottey is far more proficient counterpuncher, in that he doesn't take as much damage for the counter because he stays in his shell.


    In essence, Clottey will serve up a pretty dominating beatdown and walk away with a very close UD. But he will get the nod.




    SideNote...People underestimate Clottey's footwork too.

    As always, love the break down, and you make good points. I def think Clottey will make it a solid fight, even if i dont agree he will win it. But more power to ya VARG, im impressed with your decision! And it makes things all the more interesting.

    Meh...I'd hardly call that well-deserved. It was a close fight and a draw at best. To say that Clottey won 8 rounds is absurd. But he certainly won the fight, sadly losing the boxing match.

    What I meant to say is that he won't get a Campillo-Shumenov II type decision.
