I was meaning as in home advantage, not necessarily Japan only.

Yes but the original statement referred specifically to Japan and not home-cooking in general. If you follow the lines of quotes, it goes:

"There's usually very good judging in Japan. ...Unless a Kameda is involved." (as I put it)

    or

"There's usually very good judging in Japan. ...Unless Sturm is involved." (as you put it)

Oh and Sturm was on the wrong end of more decisions - even in Germany - than he benefited from. :good

    Bump.

So what do you guys think on UD's based on rounds ratio with variations?
By variations I mean points deduction, and draw rounds.

I still have a question about that...

If you don't count draw rounds and point deductions, and the fight ends up to be decided by those (take the Khan vs Peterson fight for example), then how is that bout scored? :blood

    J1: 9-3 Khan
    J2: 6-6
    J3: 6-6
(peterson down once. Khan got 2 points deducted for pushing)

So without the deductions Khan would have won by close UD, now Peterson won by SD. :yep

The scorecard at Peterson-Khan was 113-115 without the 3 faults deductions of Khan.

So that's a 7-5 for Khan, but Amir get's 3 points deduction so that makes 4-5 for Peterson. I guess if You have picked Peterson by 7-5 would've been the closest. If you had an epifeny and would've think that one round would be a Draw and say 7-6 for Peterson you would have been ever closer and beat the 7-5 prediction.

113-112 where the cards after deductions the guy who picks 7-5 (as in smalles diference in rounds) for Peterson wins 10-9 the WBK round.

By Kirk's rules 9-3 is ruled out.

There were 2 point deductions for Khan, and the official scores were
    Kha - Pet
    115 - 110
    112 - 113
    112 - 113

    without deductions it would be
    Kha - Pet
    117 - 110
    114 - 113
    114 - 113

Peterson was down and 7-5 was transformed into 6-5, plus the 2 points deduction it transformed int 4-5. Same thing 7-6 is the closest followed by normal 7-5 for Peterson
