I have no problem with anyone picking Thurman, since Zaveck is likely to lose a decision either way (either legit or, more likely, robbery) - but all the sheep in here seem to be flocking toward picking Thurman by knockout. That is where the Kool-Aid pitcher needs to maybe be set down, IMO.

Thurman is a powerful kid, but he isn't a miniature prime Tyson. So far his biggest stoppages have been two fellow unbeaten prospects (Lopez & Hoskins, neither of whom has done much of anything before or since), stubborn old side of beef Orlando Lora after chipping away at maximum strength for almost twenty minutes with everything landing for him and very little taking effect, and then shot Quintana who recently had a last day in the sun against Latimore but had truly been done with a fork in him for years.

Zaveck is a ****ing honey badger, he don't give a ****.

He could probably go full ****** and pull a Campbell vs. Peden/Mayorga vs. Trinidad move with mitts hanging at his knees and chin jutting out, and not get put away by Thurman's best shots. Dude is like boiled leather.
