Had a bit of a weird dream today. I had a dream I was watching the Donaire-Rigo fight on TV at my house. Donaire was just outboxing Rigo, just giving him a nice little beating for 11 rounds. Then the 12th round started up and Donaire got super aggressive all of sudden. He started throwing wide winging shots. Then about about a minute into the round Donaire threw another just winging shot....I forget if it was a left hook or a straight right, but he missed, was a bit off balance, and as he was leaning a bit forward BOOM. Rigo just clocked him with a perfect straight left hand. Donaire just fell face first onto the canvas. I went "OOOOHHH SHIIIT!!!" which isn't unusual, but after I did that, these Cubans barged in and I'm standing like "Who the hell are you guys!?" So, all these Cubans are in my house speaking spanish and every once in awhile going "Rigondeaux! Rigondeaux!" All the while Donaire is on his knees struggling to get up, stumbling around, eventually he did get up. He had that glossy look his legs were shot and for the last minute or so he was just holding on for dear life. He did manage to survive and win a decision.
Ayegashi won by UD and Miura stopped Diaz in round nine. What an awful week of picks so far for me...
