David all I can say is the work by yourself and others on this league is very much appreciated :good

 

It's an intriguing fight. I think it's a very tough fight for both fighters. Froch has trouble coming forward for 3 minutes of every round. But, on the otherside Hopkins is going to have to deal with Froch's length and jab, and it won't be easy for him moving backwards 3 minutes of ever round. So, it's sort of funny that both fighters would be out of their comfort zone. All in all, I think it would be an ugly street fight.

As Hopkins is pushed back , every once in awhile, in typical Hopkins fashion. Hopkins will launch himself forward with his head followed by the right hand, and clinch. This is where it'll get ugly because Froch won't corporate with Hopkins wanting to rest. Froch will start clubbing Hopkins head and I think it'll turn into a Calzaghe/Jones Jr. II fisaco where Hopkins falls on the floor holding his head and what not.

That's mostly how I see the fight going into one of the fighters makes an adjustment. Froch walking forward jabbing trying to get to Hopkins. While Hopkins will move on the outside, lateral movement, launch himself forward to land the right hand clinch. And then Froch starts wacking the back of Bernard's head.

 

I think everybody does a great job with keeping this competition up and running and always updated with scores and leagues etc!

I am a newbie and I am very impressed so I can only imagine the people that have been here for years are very grateful to the time and dedication given to keep the league running! Good work!!
