Allan Green came in six pounds overweight. atsch They were already meeting at the catch-weight of 180, so Green missed the light heavy mark by eleven. He is a full-size Cruiser. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/993594_10151706302905169_508552794_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd....20/1014036_10151706302635169_1672586968_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd....720/1004629_10151706302640169_287510955_n.jpg
Just watched Eurosport Double KO's. What happens if both guys are out cold ? It's a Draw? a NC ? what ?
It depends. The ref will still count - if one man gets up, he wins. Otherwise...I guess both get a KO1 W and L? Nah, it would have to be NC or TD. (I"ve seen that scenario during scripted pro wrestling matches but never in boxing :yep) The double KD is rare but does happen in boxing...double KO, though? :admin
Not exactly the same - but there is an instance of both combatants getting TKO'ed on cuts/swelling/damage after beating each other to a pulp. Merqui Sosa vs. Prince Charles, they both 'lost' via TKO as they were both ruled unfit to continue so it went down as Technical Draw in the 7th.
You're right most of them were double KD, but there was an vicious double KO in MMA showned there to, both guys whent down like Montiel against Donaire, legs and hands stiff style. You still didn't answered my question. So is it a draw if both guys are out ?
If you want to count this as precedent, then yeah it would make the most sense. (even though stoppage on cuts is different circumstances from being whacked out cold...it's still a 'double stoppage' either way, and this is how it was ruled the one time...)
That is what I'm saying, they called it a TD7 to prevent both of them officially having losses on their record since that would look silly even though it's what happened.
What's Allan doing at Dannyweight?! :err They are becoming one... the universe is melting together it's Allan "Danny" Green :scaredas:
Oh man I would love to see Danny Green vs. Allan Green!! :rofl No matter which Green winds up getting KTFO (and most likely one would) - I'm happy!
