:bart * I am the WBK Champion :deal * This would be a rematch of the dethroned champ trying to take back his title from the young lion who dethroned him. The fight will sell. :deal The fight is on :bbb
damnit... this is the second time in the same damn day I withdraw my challenge . I started looking more into the matchup, don't feel comfortable with it (I don't really know the fighters) and if I wasn't in my WBK fight Id change my pick... I really ****ed up by not researching these fights more. I don't know most of them this week. Oh well.... I think this might be the end of my WBK run. Someone else can challenge Aries, I will get the belt back soon enough anyways :deal
I had to back out, Pinoy. :-( Just don't know the matchup well enough. I don't want to take another L in a title fight based on a fight I shouldn't be picking on. I bruised a rib during training.... fights off
Whoa. Kirk seems on the verge of an Oliver McCall moment. I think we need to find another challenger, Aries.
Kirk, des help me out a bit. I didn't figured out how to do a thing, a rule. All guys must have a chance to challenge higher ranks. In order to do that some will have to accept fights against lower ranked guys. How should we do that? We can simply go by numbers, odd vs even. #1, #3, #5, #7, #9 will pick their opponents first #2, #4, #6, #8, #10 will have to accept the challenges they receive Then the guys who already challenge last time, have to accept challenges from the guys who were challenged the first time around. The ones who were being picked as opponents are picking their opponents now. Is this good? You guys have other ideas? Better ones ? The ones that picked/Challenged someone in the match-making of the last set of fight, should still be able to propose, while the one that has accepted the challenge/ has been picked last time will have to power to impose.
Hmm. I think what'll happen is that you'll have guys who are an odd # rank one fight could be an even # rank the next fight. And you could run into situations where guys are always fighting lower ranked(or viceversa). I have to cut out. Let me think on it a bit.
What ranks should be in danger of dropping out of top10? I initially thought of the last 4: #7, #8, #9 and #10. How will the unranked guys have a chance to break into top 10. We somehow must ensure a rule that will have a number of unranked guys being able to force ranked guys into fights. Should we let vulnerable to the challenges of the unranked those guys who had the luxury of picking the opponents last fight ? That would not be fair for the really high ranks as #1 #2 #3 to be forced to accept a fight against an unranked. How should we proceed to secure a few chances for those who would like to break into top10 and how many fighters can be given that chance. First come first served should work fine on who of the unranked get the chance.
The odd vs even numbers are only for the first time around, if you read more you will find out that after that it becomes the ones who had the chance to pick vs the others who didn't, the numbers wont matter no more. I hope I make sense.
How about this... Im taking to myself The *******s left me alone Im putting the questions and I answer few minutes later when I get some ideas. So how I was saying how about this.... The lowest 3 ranks that must accept challenges will do so from the unranked. But then we must to a time-frame that the unranked guys must issue the challenge. Because otherwise we risk to leave guys without an opponent, if for example only 1 unranked wishes to challenge that week-end. I was also thinking at a rule that will sound a bit like... If you don't place your picks for the first 2 rounds, the opponent will be named winner by TKO .
