**** Kirks Championships 2013 ****

I tried getting tickets to the Hatton fight but they sold out very quick, whilst I was still in school I think.

I went to all the major fights at the men arena for the last 3 year or so but last year I learnt to drive so I can widen my net a bit now.

I'm interested to get tackles take on Kessler recently but it definitely looks to me like he's putting more emphasis on power lately.

 

IB you know anything about Masedonio Molina ? Ever seen him fight ?

I have, however, seen a couple of his opponents.

Jawbreaker Colvin is a very basic, low-grade fighter. He likes to circle and eat shots (trying to block, but he isn't very adept at it) and then lunge in with poorly aimed cannonballs, or work uppercuts in the clinch. That's his whole game. Really poor, and everyone above tomato cans should beat him. However, it seems Molina got rid of him quickly with a TKO1 - which has only ever been done by one other opponent, the currently 13-0 (7) Derrick Webster who's not a bad Northeast regional prospect and who's slated to face Darnell Boone this week in a "step up". So that's a mildly impressive result for Molina.

Then, we have Wade Tolle Jr. - a Kronk disciple unbeaten when he faced Molina. He appeared on a few Kronk Fight Night cards and is the sort you can imagine Steward viewing as an appealing project - rangy, powerful, boxes tall behind a jab and works the body. Molina knocked him out in two last month, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. :yep Tolle is a complete scumbag. Deadbeat dad (fails to pay child support after passing a paternity test), brutish thug (hospitalized someone after jumping them for a laugh, then ducked his court dates) etc.

:good I've seen Derrick Webster, he's the boxing version of Elie Seckbach, filming himself everywhere. Decent fighter but would surprise me if he ever reaches top20.
I was curious about Masedonio Molina, but he looks like a short thick guy with power, who doesn't seem to have a good enough physically built. He's record was decent and was wondering about his age. Probably would be best for him to drop to MW.
I hope this year to see Ezequeil Maderna tested against a decent name. And Dinu stippeing up would be great. Also would love to see Ronald Gavril fightin at least 3 times.
