:think Worth its own thread, you reckon? Don't get me wrong, it was my pleasure to invest a bit of time in replying to you individually, but that seems like an interesting ongoing conversation to have (and this is such a fast-paced thread, the breakdown will get buried and forgotten in no time if not re-posted elsewhere) so with your blessing I'll present the inquiry to a broader audience. Maybe tack on a poll to see who is generally viewed as having the stronger reign up through now? I should probably stick with Classic for that, actually - in General there would be too many disingenuous votes either way by the polarized radical Klitschko fanatics & haters. (both of which groups are probably completely ignorant of Holmes and DKSA his contenders...)

I saved that post so that I have it on file, as a reference for myself to reread. But I definitely think the discussion could use its own thread. Copy and paste what you put here in there as well. I would also think though that in the classic there may be a bit of the opposite end maybe? Guys giving the edge to Holmes because they are somewhat bias to the older eras? idk.... anyways, that was an awesome read and is something ill be looking at many times. Thank you.
Good call, yeah - it's sort of a damned if you do either way scenario. There is definitely nostalgic bias in Classic (Jeffries KO1 Lewis! ) although for most of the old farts even Holmes might be classed along with all them newfangled "modern" prizefighters. :yep At least in General we can hope the extreme irrational elements (pro and con K2) will cancel each other more or less out. :think I'll give it a go in here. :good
