    I completely missed this, sorry IB.


    Verdict : I liked it. I can officially say now that I like AiC. I don't know why I never thought Id like them but I was surprised at the album.

    Favorite Tracks (Ive only given 'Dirt' album a full listen, still have to check out their others)
    1 - Rooster
    2 - Them Bones
    3 - Down in a Hole
    4 - Rain when I Die
    5 - Would?


    I came across another song of theirs that I love, and would be battling with Rooster as my favorite track of theirs.... and that would be 'Nutshell', it seems that's a fairly popular track so I hate to be jumping on that bandwagon but I just love it.

    Which has me checking out their next album after 'Dirt', 'Jar of Flies'....

    Yeah...it's way mellower stuff on that Jar of Flies EP, but still all very cool.

    ...and Nutshell is just impossible not to like. If that song doesn't move you on some level you're just missing a little of what makes us human, I think. If you want more in that vein (slow pace, strong melody, prominently featuring Layne Staley's vocals in a softer form, with the full rock bombast of stuff like "Again" or "Dam That River" dialed almost completely down) check out the side project Layne was involved with during the mid-90s, the grunge super group Mad Season also feat. members of Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees.

    Let me know what you think of JOF, and their self-titled and Facelift if you get around to 'em.

    Will do IB. Thanks for all the suggestions. I absolutely love music and try to get a taste of whatever I can to see what will be the next songs I add to the collections.

    Ill be gone for a week or so for some training but Ill be checking the other albums when I get back.

    Im wondering if my title reign will come to an end with Stevenson vs Cloud. Im not sure who I will be picking just yet but either way.... that's a tough one.

    Vazquez vs. Diaz II is also pushed back to October.

    Lee vs. Spada and Quigg vs. Salinas were going to be on the Haye vs. Fury card; the former is canceled and the latter is now part of an October 5th Sky triple-header...

    Ali Chebah dropped out and Humberto Soto is now facing substitute opponent Mahonri Montes.

    So boom, there goes half the list for this week. :yep
