Yup! I was pleasantly surprised, for sure. I don't want to hype it up but I thought it was pretty good for its genre and type.

Also, "The World's End" is a pretty damned good comedy, though not quite up there with Shaun of the Dead as far as Simon Pegg movies are concerned. Still worth checking out, if you get the chance.

Sorry guys, the Casimero picks were actually late. The knockout came at 6:21am EST per Twitter, seven minutes prior to Brand's pick and hours before Drew's. Being that it made it as far as the eleventh, the first bell was probably at 5:27 or so. Any picks made after 5:30am EST would be considered late. They usually stage boxing shows much earlier in the evening in the Philippines (and some other southeast Asian countries) than in the rest of the world, I've noticed. You always wanna get those in the night before it you can help it. :good
By the way, the ace of my gym (which I competed in the smoker for last month) is making his sophomore pro outing this afternoon: http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=678405 I think he is due up in the next ten minutes, actually! I would've loved to be there but am stuck home since my son is sick and wife is working. His opponent, hailing from my old hometown, is making his pro debut - so there obviously was no scouting to be done on him. Send along some triumphant vibes, if you don't mind. WAR GERALD!
I kind of felt the same. SOTD was a more well-constructed film and well-executed idea - but TWE is hard to match for an experience of pure, breathless, genre-bending-on-a-dime-at-breakneck-speed, dizzying movie-going fun. I prefer both to HF, which is still quite good.

:desk I feared that might be the case, but wasn't in a position to access my computer yesterday, so wasn't able to post a pick that I had in mind for the past couple of days. Serves my lazy ass right.:dead
